You cant tell here but Celica's astral fully heals the enemy before Minerva crashes into them. You cant tell because its training mode and they limited the health below 35%

Azrael is... probably the strongest character in Blazblue. His Astral is only a glimpse of his power when his seals are off.

If you want to go by lore, the damage each astral does is supposed to represent how strong that character is. Azrael's is pretty high, but not the strongest.

That theory pretty much debunks itself when Kagura is stronger than Ragna and Es, Lambda is stronger than 90% of the cast, and Litchi is as strong as Azrael according to Astral damage numbers.

Bear in mind, Kagura holded his own very well against Azrael, who limits his own power. Tbf, it's mostly because they're GG fanboys and thought BB wasn't/isn't a worthy succesor at the time ArcSys was butting heads with Sega over GG. But good god, some characters are either too complex or just bottom-tier shonen cliched bullshit. Which is why I avoid anime fighters in general, they seem to have this all around.
