David, of all the charter videos you have ever filmed, this is my favorite. I just wanted to sit on that beach with you and Adam at the end and watch the sun go down together. Simply amazing...THE BEST!!! Cheers, sir!

Brilliantly done! Even with the little experience I've had, crew really does make ALL the difference. Thanks for suffering through this production, David.

For me, this video captures the heart of what Yacht charter offers at its finest -- joining loved ones together in ways and in places that are perfect. Thanks David.

Love this 'smokers lounge' style conversations. The information that is broadcasted comes across as so much more genuine and authentic.

I think the Crew is the single most important piece of a charter. The boat can be okay-the weather crap and a good crew can make or break the charter.

Have been a part of the Milestone experience for over 30 charters as feature entertainment for the guests. Captain Vince and the Milestone team are absolutely fantastic - great video 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Thank you for this video of David and the Team, I also thought that the crewsent is the force of a successfull charter. .In my youth, I knew a very family hotel, along the North Sea.T his hotel does not have the greatest luxary but the staff will help you that you feel at home. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I would love to see a video about the additional cost to a charter, from my understanding the $180k for the week is the base price, then you need to add provisions, liquor, fuel, docking, and crew tips. I cant find a good video online that breaks down all these extra cost.

I remember reading somewhere that a good rule of thumb is to double the weekly charter price and that’s the full cost. So this yacht is $180k for seven days, total trip cost will be $360k. I’m not sure how true this is?, but I would love to see your breakdown of these cost.

Great and informative video. What happens if one has booked a week on such a yacht, you arrive with all your guests, and the complete week is completely awful, weather wise. Are weather reports observed closely prior to a charter start, and if really bad weather is forecast, do the charters still take place. The yacht owners are profit driven, but if a guest has just forked out a hundred thousand plus, that guest wants the best, including the weather.

This is going to sound out there, but we I think one thing that keeps people from chartering now is Below Deck. That may or may not be true, but for as much as that show has helped yachting, I think it has also hurt it. If you think about it and what the show portrays is that the guests are either mean, dumb, arrogant, rude or clueless. The crew hate the guests, the tip is never enough, the requests aren't welcome and it just seems like they (the crew) don't want to be there except for the money and to get drunk and hook up with people on the boat. And while that's not the case at all regarding the crew or the guests in real life, you have to think that it probably plays into some people's thought process, especially if they never chartered a yacht, 'Oh let me check out this show on yacht chartering' and then they see it and think of it as a representative whole for the industry. Which it isn't. The other thing is that people with the means right now, don't want to spend the money. They fear the economic turmoil tnat the US and other countries are in becuase of the mess in Ukraine and Israel. The election cycle here in the states is next year, but the people have no confidence in our current president at all. And I'm sure these can be blown off as 'Whatever!' But maybe then some people can tell us why they aren't chartering. I also think people are taking shorter vacations, cheaper and closer to home.
