This was my very first parade routine & I let the girls pick out the song 🎵 they played it for me at practice & choreography for their parade baton routine just came to me..they absolutely loved it I’ve played this over 1000 times counting all our practices marching them through grass, down the sidewalks, through the local church parking lots & parks…this was 15 years ago & they still remember the routine ❤️

I laugh everytime i remember that in the school's talent show of 2010 a loooot of kids was intend to do this song, so they made all of them perform together in a huge hoedown throwdown, because no one would listen to the same song like 15 times in 15 different performances. LOL

Loving this dance and saw the show when it came out. The talent continues with her in 2023. Her dad had to have been so proud of her. In an interview she noted he did not want her to play that part for fear of rejection. In fact the trailer was done with another actress. But we know she continued. She was a natural in this show and just cannot imagine how Billy Rae was so overwhelm as a dad with pride. Keep it going Miley.
