they did an acoustic song together and it was really good i think she meant like, a consistent true friend and not just here and there. They've each had a lot going on since that song so it might be more like rekindling + growing closer

they were friendly with each other cause at one point they were neighbours but I think what miley is saying they weren't close friends and anything they did together like the covers were more for publicity and now she wants to actually be friends

Taylor Many singers were there with Ariana to support and raise funds for the victims and all. I don’t think that Ariana was friends with any of them. They were there as public figures. I mean, who wouldn’t want to go to a concert where international artists would perform. Miley didn’t really say they weren’t friends, she said that she wished to be closer to her.

Sorry but coming from a weed smoker, what's the problem? At best it makes you tired and actually boosts creativity. She's not gonna be "out of it" or hallucinating on weed, it's like being sleepy and really hungry... I get its a "drug" but that's only because you can't tax it and it's legal in plenty of places. There are more health benefits than anything! Why is it okay for people to drink alcohol which can literally kill you and weed is so shocking to everyone? If she had said "Just gonna have a few drinks with my family" nobody would have said a damn word. As a celebrity leading a stressful life with the paps at you 24/7, I think a joint or a few hits of a bong is acceptable. Should not be affecting your life, shouldn't even bother or affect you.
