Duuude, I used to live in these exact housing units from 98-2001 back when I was in high school, my old man was in the Navy on submarines

Possibly getting restationed back Norfolk. Thank for the house tour because I’ve always saw the housing on the outside and have never been inside of one

First of all thanks so much for the video, it really does help those that are on the outside looking in😃 this will be our first ever experience with base housing in 11 years, so it's nice to see that the housing is decent. Questions: when you first applied for housing how long was the wait list, if any? Also, do they look at your family size and then provide you a list of what may be available to pick from or do they just place you? Do you know how early they allow you to move in or does your spouse have to be checked in to the command first? We are transferring to Norfolk NLT than Oct and were just informed in JUN. Thanks in advance for any info.

Sorry I’m seeing this so late. We applied at least 4-6 months before and paper work was lost so then applied again at 2 month Mark and made it on time. They are very specific when they set the date to give you your keys so I’m not sure on moving in early.

Thank you ! The yard was so tiny but we did have a good size storage to store extra decorations boxes and our lawnmower. My son was able to have a small playground in the back as well.

Hi! My family and I are here at Norwich manor which is about an 6-8 minute drive up the street but we’re moving in 2 weeks to Ben moreell due to the unusual amount of bug issues we have here like literally every single day there’s at least 5 different bugs in our home and wolf spiders being the most popular! Literally found one in our bed and just had enough. But I was wondering so far have you encountered any issues of this sort? With an unusual amount of bugs?

Is this on or off base ? My husband and I are moving there in November. And do you still get BAH with military housing in your personal account ?

This is off base military housing. And no they take your BAH if you decide to live in military housing. The only way it gets put into your account is if you choice to not live in military housing.

Is the neighborhood safe? For the time you’ve been there, has there been shootings or break ins? Is it safe to walk around at night within this neighborhood?

Starting work at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. Trying to find housing for Myself and My 2 dependents! How long was the wait for housing?

We moved here about 6 months ago and our wait was about 2 months because they lost our paperwork. Stay on top of them and it shouldn’t be as long :)

I believe orders, les, the lease and I’m don’t remember the others. Everything should be on the Lincoln military housing website. 😁

I believe so. There’s other housing in the area as well. There’s on base housing which I thought was much smaller.

@@Ashleyybrioness : Thank you for the information! I used to live outside of little creek base housing. It was disaster! We had black mold at laundry room / dinning room and noise issues !! The housing receptionist was useless. Hopefully we can get better housing . Is there officer housing in Norfolk?
