What about all the other military veterans

Soooo, how are these "military vets" vetted? As usual, with anything ANC related, record-keeping was pathetic, there were almost no records kept of enlistment, fewer about deployment and none about operational activities - which all means that anyone can "claim" to be a military vet. I'd love to hear how the Department has gone through this exercise. Surely these payments can't be made to mere "supporters" or "cheerleaders", these payments should only be made to active operational members? If not, as a sympathetic white "supporter" of the struggle, maybe I should also claim for these payments?
