That was a awesome surprise you pulled off. I come from a Military Family myself. So, I know how it feels. We just can't Thank our Veterans enough for all they did, do & will be doing as they are serving our Beautiful Country so we can have our FREEDOM. After all, our FREEDOM is not free. It's all Thanks to those that laid down their lives so we can have our FREEDOM. Once A Marine, Always A Marine!!🇺🇸🦅❣️

Due to Covid I was unable to attend basic training graduation. We did not see our Marine grandson for 10 months, until he completed his M.O.S. training. It was great to finally see him.

The last person to hug me as i got on the bus to Parris Island was my mother. Then she gave me a Bible and made me promise to carry it everywhere I went. She said if I ever got into a spot, I'd find all the answers in it. I carried that Bible to Beirut, Panama, Desert Storm, Somalia and Afghanistan and read it often. Mama was right, I found all the answers in it. Every time I came home, she hugged me HARD......Mamas worry a lot when they send their boys out into the World to become men. Mama is gone now, but I still carry that Bible every where I go.
