So I'm losing to people who are exploiting a weird reset oposed to people's actually driving skills? They should definetly fix this in a future update... thanks for keeping us up to date so we can be just as lame👌🏻

Its a pretty common tactic in The Crew Motorfest and The Crew 2. They have adjusted respawn points before to combat this, they could do it again.

If you want to 'reset' your car you have to turn off rewind feature in the settings menu. Hope this helps.

I like the Summit, but i don't like the weird resets where you get time advantages. But oh well, it gives you extra views i guess for figuring them out :)

Absolutely amazing. The game should be paying you because you create replay-ability. We run the races then go back to try to do it like you, very fun! I have realized alot of people dont see that with the drag cars they have a shifting light the little light on the center of the speedo lights up green when you need to shift for the drag cars

I use sequential gears so all of my cars have a green and red light in the center. Except electric

use a widebody on your cars. widebodys makes your car alot faster. the race with the supra for example. with widebody i improved my time by 8 seconds. and use vanity tires. there are some with hidden stats like the widebody. for example the stretched asphalt tires or spear hawk tires. one of meta tires are the hyper beast tire, they gives you by far the most alignment. take a alpha gp car and compare the tires and look how the alignment get changed. this visual tuning parts effect the handling a lot.

Hey Trigger, love the videos. I'm new to the crew and have a problem. Every time I reroll my affixes it takes both bucks and scrap and when my money is gone I can't reroll even if I have scrap currency. Is there a way to choose currency or do I have a major problem.😢

When you reroll it takes money AND scrap, not just scrap, so no.

I’ve been top 2000-3000 for the past two summits but this one just feels weird to play, can’t really improve my times much further now so I’ll sit at top 10500 for this one. Hopefully the next one is easier but it’s drag cars

@@karlcoulson8739I mainly get in the top 10,000 but this one I'm struggling with more. I'm great at racing games and struggling with this one it isn't just about "get good". I do however like that they allow for fair summits like this so it gives other people a chance. Anyway I'm missing out on this one as I haven't been well and can't play as much as I'd like to so I'm happy with whatever I get

i'm really confused with the NOS in the Summit event. How do you have NOS in these cars since it's a loaned car? for example on "Flaunt your Stuff" I don't have NOS, why?

It’s a glitch of the game. It records their time from a different race and applies it to that event. The crew needs to fix it

No matter what I do on strike a pose I still can't beat 2:56. And how the hell do you get in front of that one car right at the start of the vanity one? I'm actually progressively getting worse at that one. No clue why

You can change your difficulty settings to help you with the AI (I believe)

Using pro settings on the cars you bought doesn’t do anything in this event, when you go to enter one of the races and pick your car eg the r34, it says FAIR next to pro settings and fair pvp up top.

Can you please talk about the game crashing on the PS4 system & how you can't complete the Summit this week in the 1st event called Glow Up. At 55% which is in the tunnel the game crashes & the error screen comes up. I wonder if anyone else who has the game on the PS4 is going through the same issue. Hey there man just wanted to say thanks, i'm a decent driver, but one thing i always louse up is cuts! I cant spot them to save my life in grand race or in the summit events, despite driving the same route multiple times! This has really helped, currently ranked 650th or so RetroPhoenix1978, and your vid is gold. TY man! Got a 1.41 just now in Neon Light, reaching the limits of my ability, 300th or so on PS5. And a lot of that is down to your vids :) Oh and I second the calls for your times and points to be shown, gives me something to shoot for outside of the randoms!

Every time I’m in a grand race and I respawn my car…it’s sometimes takes 5-10 seconds and I loose so many positions. It makes me so F…king mad bro!!

no. plat is very possible with out slipstream. i know a couple people who are in the top 20 for this week and they did the whole summit alone. A slipstream partner just helps. It might mean a few seconds on each race.

Kinda sucks that your score is based on exploits and not your driving ability. For example, I couldn’t understand why I was getting such a low score in ‘Shine Bright’ even with very clean runs. After watching your video I see the trick is to drive into an alley and have your car reset. This ruins the game in my opinion since it’s all about who knows the cheats, not who is the best driver. Disappointed at Ubisoft.

That’s a way to look at it. But it’s an arcade racing game and imo shortcuts are fun to try to find. It’s a challenge to find the best cuts. But it still takes a lot of skill to get a good time. That one cut doesn’t automatically give you a good score. You still need to drive well on the rest of the course and that cut is not super easy to perform so I get your point but to me, this type of thing makes the game more interesting.

It's incredibly annoying to have to do these exploits and shortcuts just to get cars in this game. The fact that Summit is still rife with cheaters is ridiculous. I should have refunded.
