댓글 대부분이 먹기 불편하고 생크림만 많다고들 하는데 오히려 저는 저런 것도 매력있다 생각하는데요..? 평소에 생크림을 너무 사랑해서 생크림 들어있는 빵만 사 먹는 저로써는 군침이 도네요..ㅜㅜ 역시 식상한 것 보다는 이렇게 새로운 메뉴도 있어야 요식업의 범위도 더 다양해지는 것 같아요! 다음에 기회가 된다면 먹으러 가볼게요:)

considering that the other donuts are pretty normal ones, i think it has so much whipped cream because whipped cream literally just gives up on you when you eat it with something. like, you can barely taste it, it just disappears. i made some eggo waffles and put whipped cream on them and i had to make a whole pile just to taste the whipped cream

This is not a simple donut, this is something we traditionally eat a lot in portugal during summer, it’s called ‘bola de berlim’ And came from a similar sweet made in germany, therefore the name which literally means ‘ball of berlin’. During summer sellers walk on the beach all day long selling bolas de berlim for 1€, 1,5€. Before there used to only be the ‘ball’ itself without any creams OR the traditional ‘ball’ with a speacial cream. Now you can get them with nutella, different types of chocolate, apple cream, cinamon, and in Algarve a special cream called ‘alfarroba’ that comes from trees that grow there. it’s not called a donut because the dough tastes different, although they look similar. You’re not a true portuguese if you dont have at least one of these every year when you go on summer vacation heheh. It’s just funny to see this being called donuts with whipped cream when we’ve been eating this sweet for decades during summer in portugal :)

I think this one and those two in Portugal and Germany might be the same. I think you must be smart to know that every place has their own name to call something. If you said it's bola de berlin then it is. If we asian call it doughnut then it is.
