Generally the more you milk your cows, the more product you will extract. On the other hand, milking once or twice a day reduces the exposure to teat damage and dangerous microbes. Twice a day is generally regarded as being healthier for the cattle and cheaper/faster for the workers. Some smaller farms that really love their Holsteins may actually opt for one milking a day. Rule of thumb is: constant milking increases yield but reduces lifespan

Ik that ive worked at a Dairy farm before and theres usually 5 people working in the barn of 80 cows. But i miss working at the dairy

more then that by the time you just buy the land for the farm have ground leveled out in areas for buildings silos bunkers ect ur talking about half a million there then buy all the land wcith is more then likely 4000 acres plus the equipment witch would probaly be about 7million cause you would want double or tripple of everything so if something breaks down. you probaly have close to 80 million if not more but if you lease land then it would be way cheaper. thsi if you went and started fresh but no one would start with fancy equipment probaly some old IH 14 sereies and stuff like that

3 times a day 👏 fucking job it's hard 3 times day. I making 2 times a day same like some questions in your commentary. Morning/night making the third in the middle Wich aliments did you put and Wich evolution did you have (cow,milk) and others question same like this. Financial economic question? I'm really interested.
