They had a fine herd of pedigree cows 20 years ago, the focus was the cow then, its grass and milk solids now, who knows what next

Then the pedigree cows were hard to get in calf then calving interval slipped to far to pull back only way to be paid now grass to kgms =€

they followed the teagasc model and thats their choice, I was there 20 years ago for 2 years and the then farm manager and stockman never spoke of fertility issues, they fed well and bred well and it was profitable, winter milk went out of fashion and EBI became god according to teagasc, thank God the Cork men didnt listen and they are winning today @@dylanfarrell9682
