No idea if Mr Miller Is putting these pod casts together but I absolutely love them. Mark is one of my favorite comic personalities great attitude smart funny. And the only motivation is create outstanding comics. No inserts no political agendas. He is the standard!

Great interview and I love that you guys are still thinking about the future of comics and where it needs to go. You both gave me hope about that and I think it’s time for a big reset as well. The Ultimate line of comics did this well, and it’s time for the entire Marvel and DC’s line to take this route. And Conway’s idea that archetypes are an important place to bring everything back to is great. Bring all the characters back to a place of positivity and light and then maybe 3 years into their new run bring on a dark story to react to that period of positivity. The New 52 made the mistake with starting with a dark period and it didn’t work.

His return to Spectacular and web in the late 80s was one of my favourite runs. Law and Order Criminal Intent is also one of the best detective shows ever.

I enjoyed the first episode. One recommendation I have is that you invest in a good mic. I think it will enhance your recording immensely. I was difficult to hear your part of the interview. Looking forward to more!

Gerry Conway is one of my favourite Spider-Man writers. The Night Gwen Stacy died is a personal favourite (even though I miss Gwen).

As much as Mark lauds Mr. Conway's stories as the best ever, let's not forget that in leaving open a giant plot hole in "The Death of Gwen Stacy", Mr. Conway paved the way for JMS' abomination "Sins Past".

Liked the funny intro, and then the music and sliding up of the channel name LOL. Interesting hearing that Gerry Conway "wrote like" a Stan Lee style. Was this to make sure the characters' personality was consistent, but also, so that the story and what happened, was what people were "used to", or "liked"? Today, it seems when a new writer comes on, they do something different than the previous person, be it Tom King's Batman after Scott Snyder's Batman, and then Tynion's Batman after Tom King's Batman, or like Al Ewing's Immortal Hulk and Donny Cates' Hulk. Or even Bendis' Superman after Tomasi's Superman.
