Insteof listening to political talking heads and some "news" organisation that is merely interested in generating attention for monetary gain, how about you listen to actual SCIENTIST? You would quickly realise that, 1. The world is probably not going to end anytime soon 2. We have it objectively better now pretty much in every part of the planet than at any other time before, and 3.You can easily end a ton of unnecessary suffering by raising awareness of actually relevant and acute issues, that would help humanity and the rest of the planet immensely if they were tackled (and it wouldn't even cost a lot of money) Or you could continue to live in a depressed delusion like you are now, which is entirely by choice.

For the non toddler ones (my sister is Gen alpha, 10) they're just regular Internet goblins. Like istg. It's really just spitting back everything they saw on the screen. Randomly saying Tiktok sounds, quoting memes 24/7, captivated by trends, sane doomer mentality as us, plus some low-key unhinged behavior irl you would really only see online and is only still acceptable because theyre kids. The good thing is that my sister at least has me and my big brother (we're significantly older than her) since we are able to teach her and try to filter through all the trash she reigurates from the Internet so she's growing up just fine for how things are. I just don't know how that's going for the kids without any sort of attentive role models / reliable older figures... 💀
