The song is about former band mate and one of the founding members of Pink Floyd. Syd Barrett its about him losing his mind.

They play more early Pink Floyd songs up to and including Meddle. Which may not mean anything to you now, but it will in time. Enjoy your Floyd journey. There is nothing like it.

The song is about their former band member Syd Barret, who had to leave the band for mental health problems. (Remember, when you were young: you shone like the sun! Now there‘s a look in your eyes like black holes in the sky. Shine on you crazy diamond!)

The bass player Guy Pratt played with the band, and then David Gilmour for over 30 years, I think he is now in his 50s, he has played for big names, including Madonna. He was married to the keyboard player, Richard Wright's daughter. I think the drummer, Nick Mason was touring, maybe last year, with his band.

Great to see Sam Brown in the backing vocals (the one in the middle). She's a fantastic artist in her own right. Worth checking her out.
