As soon as I clicked on this video, my tears started rolling down my face. I truly miss Elvis and it breaks my heart all over again now with Lisa Marie. Now Father and Daughter are reunited in Heaven and they can sing together as much as they like 🥲🥲🥲❤️❤️❤️

thanks for this great reaction, so glad to see you, and so glad younger people are seeing what a talented innovator Elvis was. He sang every type music there was, and he was a big part of my childhood. I was 12 when he appeared on Sullivan show in 1956, my dad didn't want me to watch him, he thought he was overly sexual, which he was. Ha. Still love him at 80, just as much. He was a wonderful generous humanitarian, he gave so much away especially to his fans. He loved bringing people together and was very humble about his success. Saw him twice in concert and he was unbelievably handsome. Be Blessed

Great reaction guys ! Yes this song plays at the heartstrings as we know more about the amazing and yet tragic life of Elvis from seeing the new movie Elvis from 2022. I was lucky enough to see Elvis in concert back on June 17, 1977 in Springfield, Mo when my mother took all of us six kids to see him that night. It was the first concert on what would be his very last tour before his death on August 16, 1977 Since then I’ve been to over a hundred concerts in my life , and none were as memorable as that Elvis concert ! The crowd was awestruck as this was the first time he’d played a show in Springfield, since the late ‘50’s ! When he finally took the stage after his warm up acts finished, you could actually feel the electricity in the air , as every hair on my neck and arms stood straight up from it as he music from his intro played louder and he starting singing 🤩 To see the legendary Elvis was so incredible that I feel blessed now all these years later 😊

It's great to see people reacting to Lisa Marie. Her very last album Storm & Grace is one of my favorite albums of all time. All the songs on that album are beautiful. She really was a great songwriter. Her first two albums are okay, too. The musical genre is not really my cup of tea on those two albums but I still love some songs in those. For example 'Turbulence' and 'Turned to Black' are great songs.

Elvis did not write the song. Written by Mac Davis, who also wrote Memories, and in the ghetto which Elvis recorded and possibly other songs too that I can't think of right now.

Lisa' Marie did this beautiful honor to get father in , 1997 at the Twenty years since he had left us, Her mom was right by her side as far as being There for her, She was like her father , not much of a talker but I was so proud of her Then and now , she also has 3 albums out that we're very popular and I recommend that You react to Lisa' Marie singing Lights Out , and I really think she was fantastic when she performed it live for the first time in the David Letterman Show, great job and she is the one who wrote the words as well ,, she' and Elvis have several songs like this one where she joins in with her in dad, I think my favorite would be Where No one Stands Alone , so powerful,, and so true , thank you for the great reaction to Elvis and Lisa Marie Presley , The Greatest of all time. There’s an updated version of this, with Lisa as an adult. They also have other duets-off top of my head, they duet the song In The Ghetto. It has video, yet the public have used it to make various alternative videos made of still pictures. I think, they have another 1 or 2 duets. Also, Lisa has song named, Lights Out, about her dad and her experience. She has several good songs, which includes great redo of the classic song: Dirty Laundry. Would love to here, them on your channel.

Elvis was Not a songwriter (he admitted that he wished he could, though). This was written by Singer/Songwriter Mac Davis (Baby, Don't Get Hooked on Me)..

I used to think so as well. Respectfully however, I think if you research that, you will find that his name was included based on deals made by management. At least that is my current understanding.

Colonel Parker Elvis's crook manager demanded publishing rights, he wouldn’t let Elvis record a song unless the songwriter signed the publishing rights over to one of two publishing companies that the Col had set up. But for real Elvis did co-wrote two songs with his bodyguard & friend Red West - You’ll Be Gone and That’s Someone You Never Forget. He tried to write songs but when he showed it to his ex-wife Priscilla, she put him down after that he didn't attempt to write songs again, maybe he was embarrassed. Anyways his amazing voice was enough.

@@tomlivesay8407 it's underrated and overlooked songs, not many people know them. My favorite is "That someone you never forget" for his mom who passed away when he was in the army.
