I like this movie, Porgs are fine, and I love this scene, but... I really wish the Porg wasn’t in the Falcon during this scene. It’s so distracting and takes me out of the moment 😂

It's weird that in such advanced aircraft, the cannons are handled like weapons from the 2nd WorlｄWar airplanes...very analogic...instead of some advanced digitalized weapon.

You know it's funny when I watch the last 3 Star Wars films they remind me a lot of the first 3 A New Hope,The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi for The Force Awakens,The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker with the Force Awakens it's like A New Hope with a desert planet,a jungle planet and a planet destroying super weapon with the Last Jedi it's got a Jedi living alone on a secluded planet training a new Jedi an ice planet like Hoth with walkers and speeders and The Rise of Skywalker being like Return of the Jedi being the final battle with the forces of evil including a resurrected Emperor,the return of the Death Star and a celebratory ending like Return of the Jedi with all free worlds and a brief return of 2 heroes Wedge Antillies and Wicket.

I was surprised they put Rey in the gunner seat. It's the most logical decision. But conventional wisdom would put her on the pilot seat, front and center since she's a lead character.

The dialogue is so cringey. Written because they think the audience can't figure out what is happening. Example: Ship moves to the left Terribly written character: "The ship is moving to the left."

@0:42 Rey’s perspective makes approximately zero sense - unsurprisingly. She’s in the ventral (bottom) turret, and her view is perpendicular to the battle. So that means that the Falcon is either flying toward the ground or the sky. Except that in every establishing shot, the Falcon is flying horizontally, parallel to the ground, away from the battle. Terrible, terrible movie.
