M100U "the smaller cousin" - amzn.to/30hA61c
This is my honest review on the Millennium M150 Monster Hang on Treestand. This is right now my favorite hang on style treestand.

Thanks for the review, one of the best I’ve seen showing how to hang this stand and actually zoomed in on the straps and bracket.

It’s only negative is that it’s so comfortable that your prone to fall asleep in it and fall out. Best lock on you could have.

@BooneDownSouth 2 жыл бұрын
Yes it is my favorite lock on for sure. Just make sure you have a safety harness and a lifeline in case you do fall asleep!

Yea once you get the hang of it it is really a lot easier to setup than the hang on stands that don't have that bracket. Those are a real pain to set up. But you are right super comfy man!

I have this stand and have used it for 2 years along with my summit climber. The stand is very comfortable but heavy. I'm looking at going down a size just because of the weight. Foot rest is a must for me also!
@BooneDownSouth
@BooneDownSouth 2 жыл бұрын
Yea I agree with you about the footrest. It is a heavy stand. It is really for those folks that have property where they set it for the season or only move it a few times, not for taking deep hikes into the forest with it for sure. It is super comfortable and I love hunting out of it.

@@BooneDownSouth just wanted to share an update with you. I ordered the M100U, foot rest, and shooting rail. It's every bit as comfortable and a good bit lighter. Just need another ratchet strap like the M150 because the M100U comes with the quick attach on a chain instead of the strap.

One more comment: just got another one. They are easy to assemble and comes with great accessories. I recommend the chain block assembly other than the ratchet strap. You’ll have to google and order it from another retailer. The chain block adds an extra layer of confidence for us big guys. I’ve used the ratchet strap but the chain block cam locking receiver makes it the M1Abrams tank of deer stands.
@BooneDownSouth
@BooneDownSouth 2 жыл бұрын
So another retailer makes a chain block that fits the receiver that comes with this stand?
@weschaffin
@weschaffin 2 жыл бұрын
@@BooneDownSouth no. Millennium makes the block and sells them. It’s just cheaper to go through a retailer to get one. Go to their website choose the Product lines drop down and choose Accessories. You’ll see it. It’s the best way to hang this stand. Heavy but by far more secure.

@@BooneDownSouth hi Mr. Boone nice video hey I was just wondering, can I stand up to take a shot with my bow without the seat getting in the way? cause if not, trying to flip that seat up with a buck staring at me will get me picked and I can't have that. I've gotta have a seat that won't ever get in the way if I need to stand up to take the shot

What camera were you using for this review while in the stand??
@BooneDownSouth
@BooneDownSouth 3 жыл бұрын
Robbler37 - When I was in the stand I was using the GoPro MAX 360 on a selfie stick. Here is a link to the model I am using: amzn.to/3r1J8tA Pretty cool huh? That was the first video I used that on and when I was done it almost looked like I had a drone filming me from 20 ft up. This thing is really good or fishing videos too. I think if you watch my video August Heat - Catching Bass it will give you a better glimpse of what the camera is capable of. You can check that out here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/i7F6fs59yM7Jomw.html

What climbing sticks you using? And how high you getting?
@BooneDownSouth
@BooneDownSouth 2 жыл бұрын
@Steven Hicks - I can't find the sticks I have online anywhere, but they look just like these: amzn.to/3lspd67 These go to 20' I really like these sticks. They are quick to setup and quiet to climb. I also use something like this: amzn.to/399kf8r but I don't like these near as much. You can work around tree limbs and such with them since each section is not connected to the others but they are much more of a pain to setup. It is much easier to put the 20' of sticks together and lean them up against the tree and strap it on, than it is to hang one section, climb up with safety belt, hang the next one, come back down get the next piece climb back up etc.. Hope that helps.

The one I used in the video was just one of those cheap stick ladders from Sportsman's Guide, which I will no longer purchase from because I found out they delete negative reviews even when completely legit so I lost trust in them. Those stick ladders work but they bend easy. I have had two bend on me in the past. What I moved to though since then is the API Outdoors Ultra Steel 20' Stackin' Stik Ladder. You can see it here: www.cabelas.com/shop/en/api-outdoors-ultra-steel-20-stackin-stik-ladder?ds_e=GOOGLE&ds_c=Cabelas%7CShopping%7CPMax%7CProprietary%7CGeneral%7CNAud%7CNVol%7CNMT&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAp5qsBhAPEiwAP0qeJmp5pAVJnlEE-Wj3Xw-TIwskbIHAMdTQqTmk5Rvp9KWrYds4Tv-KCRoCHYkQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds This is my first season using it and about to do an end of season review on it. I really it though, it is quiet and easy to setup and solid. As far as being quiet, the Millennium M150 is super quiet. In fact I killed another deer out of my M150 last night with my crossbow.
