This is a sad story. Just watched the documentary and am so glad to finally hear the truth. Two young, talented, gorgeous men with a dream met a snake. Both men barely spoke English but signed a contract written in German, Fab wasn't fluent in German plus neither had an attorney or any management. After signing the contract then they were told they couldn't sing.Frank used, abused and made millions off them then threw them under the bus. It cost a precious life (Rob) and what both their lives could have been. Fab has a beautiful voice. So good to see him pick up his life and move forward. Much love and respect to Fab. I loved Milli Vanilli's music back in the day and I still listen to it in 2023 and watch their videos.❤

The real criminal was the producer, Farian. He commoditized human beings like objects and then threw them under the bus because he got jealous.

Exactly and the documentary shows how the bastard did it before and he did it again after Milli Vanilli. Farian is the scammer.

Fab is singing his butt off at the end of this video! Milli Vanilli could've been legit if they would've let Fab sing! Frank was just evil and stupid. RIP Rob, you'll never be forgotten. Fab best wishes on your career. You truly have a beautiful voice. I wish you the best. You deserve it.

Yes he did. He actually sounded better than the recorded version.

I still think the actual musicians/singers that really played on the album should have gotten Grammys, the album is still great. Rob and Fab were hired as actors to portray singers by the Producer because America was so obsessed with a celebrities image. This is also the time where C&C Music factory used a skinner woman in their videos as well as LL Cool J doing the same with his hit "Doing it". And in the early 2000s there were so many artists that couldn't even sing live, they were purely products of the studio.

I never understood the big deal about Milli Vanilli because if you look at the charts for that era we all know that a lot of other people were doing the SAME THING…

I thing it's because they were the first to really get caught ....where it became common knowledge I think 🤔🤔 I think before them...only people in the industry knew the real ones and the fake ones

It's a tragedy. A real tale of deception, manipulation, opportunity money and fame. They were young and looking for a way out

If only 2023 Fabrice was there in 1991, Farian would NOT have gotten away with this shit. Farian AND Arista would have been held accountable because a confident Fabrice, more fluent in English, would have made sure that they paid for what they did.

Fab acting like we are supposed to feel sorry for him. It’s not like he’s a huge criminal but come on…
@beyourself24448 ай бұрын
I have to agree but they were still exploited and it was literally fraud perpetrated upon the public to spend their money to enrich all parties involved esp. Arista and Farian and in the end the shame and rejection killed Rob

If you came from nothing and offered everything, wouldn’t you have taken it as well? They were young, poor and yes, they were naive and taken advantage of and also holds some guilt.
