Wow, I'm about to cry, that is such a beautiful, decadent dish! I LOVE your style. Thank you to Food52 for having a Millie Peartree show, because I think she is the BEST!😘 Anything you make next will be awesome. I would suggest pancakes, but you just made ho cakes, so I would just say that I'm excited to see whatever you make next!

Or maybe could you make something with corn on the cob, or anything with corn? 💛

This sounds so good! One thing I don't get... baking soda --> acidic notes? Baking soda is basic with a ph of 9. So if it doest provide that sourness what would be the its function in the granola?
@nchaptini1 Жыл бұрын
It adds alkaline notes😅

Why do you put flour in granola?

I am currently making this recipe and just a heads up the recipe on the website says to whip the yogurt and cream together however on the video she whips up the cream and then folds in the yogurt. I am going to do it with the folding technique.

I love maple but it's so expensive and hard to find where I live 😭 Could this same technique work with molasses or honey?
@jmchau Жыл бұрын
Love the assumption that maple syrup is a pantry item. Out of my 5 closest friends, zero keep maple syrup on the regular. Maybe it's cheaper wherever Millie Peartree lives, but here on the US west coast it's pretty much a higher end ingredient.

no need to be so weirdly aggressive.

@@potatocake113hmmm. Not my intent, but I guess since body language and vocal tone don't come through over the internet it's easy for someone to misconstrue intent.

Costco! It's real maple syrup that was less than half the price of grocery stores when I lived in Sacramento. I about plotzed when I saw what they charge for real maple syrup out there.

@@sfowler1017 I don't have a costco card but I have friends who do. I'll have to check there.
