Thank you for your video!! I've used synthetic felt for several of my pieces and blocked them pretty nicely. Also, I've added stiffner. I am however, looking to purchase some wool felt cones, and starting practicing, my challenge is working with shellac stiffner.

Such a great video! I prefer to work with natural fibers for millinery - my reasons for this are firstly the biodegradable aspect of such materials, and secondly their mouldable and dyable properties are indespencible to millinery. I didn't realise you could even get synthetic versions of buckram!

I just bought my first sinamay! I live in the USA but the only place I could find it is the UK. I am looking forward to making hats and facinators using your tutorials. I would love to bring that accessory back to everyday wear in the USA.

2 suppliers here in the US are Judith M in KY and BUnique Millinery supplies..the US warehouse is in MI. There are a few others as well in NY and LA.
