Me too! Before I even saw the answers I thought "Chicago OR Detroit" ~ as there was only Detroit in the options that was the obvious one... I think Chicago has made #1 in recent years? This show was filmed in 2010 or 2011.....

Spoilers: Yeah the basketball would measure out to be 22 oz, then football is at 16 oz, then hockey puck is at 6 oz, and finally the baseball measures out to be about 5 oz. I get why they may think it’s baseball and hockey puck because it can be hard and painful if not used right but this isn’t about which is the most dangerous it’s about which weighs the most.

@@taranakimt2605 My guess is cause the football and basketball are filled with air, while the hockey puck and baseball are solid objects. I can totally see their consensus.

I can see why this show didn’t last. The common end result of these episodes are the contestants leaving with nothing. Almost like a whole hour of pent up drama that ends in disappointment. Audiences love it when contestants win _something._ The fact that most of these episodes end with zero dollar winners becomes very stale. I’d say they should’ve had some sort of system where a contestant doesn’t leave with nothing but rather, if they’re unsure on a question some point in the game, the host can offer the opportunity to wager a certain amount of cash for a mystery prize. The mystery prize can play as insurance, and it is based on how much money was placed on it. And to make it funner, the opportunity is presented randomly, and can only be offered once during the game, and can only be redeemed if the contestant makes it to the last question. So even if you lose everything on the last question, the money you put aside earlier can get you something nice. Just my two cents on how to make this game a little more interesting.

There's something cruel about this show... Like is it morally right or wrong? To give 'normal' people that much money and then have them lose it all in a matter of minutes (if not seconds) ~ it's devastating.... People struggle financially so it'd be literally *life changing* to win so much... You can see the devastation in some of their faces.... Wonder if that had anything to do with the show being discontinued, just the moral aspect of it.... I agree with you that they should have made sure the contestants don't leave empty handed! Maybe they could have given $1000 for each 'level' they get, guaranteed?? So if you manage to answer 5 questions correctly then that's $5000 in their pocket, no matter if they get the 6th question right or wrong, etc..... That'd be better than nothing.

@@jojobee42 WWTBAM copycat shows often didn't copy the fairness of the rules. The high stakes, the tense music and lighting and staging, but often left out how much opportunity and control was given to contestants on WWTBAM. Regis gave out more money in one episode on average than this show did in 10, 10 years of inflation later.

I heard my friend say it has alot of crimes......lets put 400k on it because my friend told me one time that it has alot of crimes.......... hahhaha what an idiot. I laugh so hard on people who tell me things based on what someone else told them and they think its "TRUTH AND REAL"........no matter what it is but if their friend told them it, then its a true thing.................this is miserable hahaha, to me its the opposite....whatever I heard from a friend or any other human for that matter I just take it with grain of salt and I tell myself, it may happened or may not happened, unless its important to me then I go research it. Thats how everyone else should do too.

The first couple - the man's face when *it* happened.... Feel sorry for these people. I hope there's some kind of counselling once they're out ~ it can be devastating to some people to see THAT much money and then loose it all so quick....

Maybe not counseling, but they may have been paid $1,000. Modern game shows now offer consolation payments to contestants, usually a grand. This is because unlike classic game shows, they don’t pay for airfare, accommodations and travel. So the $1,000 is meant to alleviate the costs as the contestants travel to the show on their own dime.

why you're sorry for stupids? they put their money on the lightest, I dont play hockey or baseball myself but I can see clearly that these are the lightest and smallest, yet they put their money on them!!! LOL, I also knwo that basketball is friggin heavy!!! the man say basketball is light, he's so dumb.

@@ShadowLinkxMasterIf they did, either in cash or in travel and hotel coverage (WWTBAM did that, which for New York for 10 contestants plus 10 guests in FFF an episode wasn't cheap), then they didn't advertise it. Seems like the show wanted to appear cruel.
