A decade ago I won a poker tournament with a high 6 figure payout and I payed ~43% taxes; and my Dad was a CPA and did all kinds of things to offset. If the winner happens to see this, calculate your expected tax and put it into a CD or even put it in a SPY fund(highly recommend). Make money off of it while it sits around until next April. Luckily I only had to pay taxes in one state so I have no clue how that works out come next year. Considering your line of work most of this has probably already been through your head. Congrats on the win; especially since it was your first entry.

I watched the limit for the promo bet on the ravens and the chiefs decrease throughout the day so I imagine they reduced the limits as their exposure got balanced. Limit for me was 3333 in the morning, 2666 in the afternoon and 1333 by gametime.

Could have at least asked him his opinion of the games this week, dude is red hot. LOL
