Episode #821
Ryan Tseko became a multifamily millionaire by his mid-thirties after giving up his previous career to invest. By the time Ryan was thirty, he already had twenty-one rental units, paid off over six figures in student debt, and used his pilot job to scope out new property markets. Everything was going to plan until a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity presented itself. Ryan left everything and made the jump.
But how did Ryan end up in his multi-millionaire position? How did he go from house hacking “crash pads” for pilots to helping manage one of the largest real estate portfolios in the country? A better question-how did a commercial pilot become Grant Cardone’s right-hand man? Ryan’s story is unbelievable, but it’s true.
In today’s episode, Ryan will share why he gave up his high-paid job to bust his butt working for Cardone Capital, why Grant Cardone told him to sell his ENTIRE real estate portfolio, and the two-minute deal analysis Ryan does that instantly tells him whether a property is worth pursuing. Ryan proves ANYONE can go from nothing to much more than something-and you can, too!

Great interview & sharing. The point on paying off student debt first vs investing on a cash flow potential asset is gold. Cos if one opt for former, they have debt gone but no cash flow + appreciating asset. I was contemplating on which option. This was so helpful. 🙏

I’m a corporate pilot and I relate to Ryan’s story very much. I have a similar story and started out with Room rentals for other pilots. It’s grown into much more today. Big results start with little wins.

That's fantastic to hear! It's amazing how small beginnings can lead to significant accomplishments. Your journey sounds inspiring, and it's great that you've been able to expand beyond room rentals. Keep pushing forward and making those little wins count! ✈👍

Not trying to hate or anything, but he made it seem like after already being hired as a salesman for Grant he told Grants wife he was a pilot and she asked if Grant knew and he said no. Then a few minutes later David asks him what did you offer Grant on the initial phone call that got you in the door and he says he told him he was a pilot and can run the flight division for free. I'm confused.

Great show. I appreciate him mentioning his timing in the beginning. Not to take anything away from anyone but I think it is helpful for anyone whos looking to get started in investing today to recognize that the last 10-15 years have been nothing but exponential growth in real estate. Much has changed in the last 2 years.

Here's what I don't get. A lot of these videos are all "so I bought this multifamily complex 18 months ago and am now cashflowing and it's amazing!!" If that's the case, why did the previous owner sell you the multifamily complex, since he/her in theory was also "cashflowing and it was amazing!!" Something's....not adding up here. If buying real estate leads to these astronomical returns, why isn't everyone buying real estate? Or said different, why would anyone ever sell real estate to a potential buyer? "The key to wealth building is buying real estate!!!" But the only way this works is if the person selling you that real estate didn't get the memo that the key to wealth building is buying real estate, because he's getting rid of the thing that's in theory the key to the wealth building. Doesn't...make...sense...

Thank you @RyanTseko10X You took the selfless approach. You looked to help someone else without the expectation of reward. It is a powerful tool in marketing and in relationship. Exactly how I am thinking about moving into the commercial side. I don;t need the money and simply want to learn the industry by helping some of those that are doing it. Step 2 is then of course reaching back and helping those from the communties that I grew up in. Keep it up.
