What Jeezy is talking about is emotional maturity. So many people in our society lack this.

Two Great Men having a Wise and Intelligent conversation. Nas wasn't talking about Jeezy; rather the changes taking place in the Music Industry. Great Conversation and Dialogue.

Nas is a real one, Jeezy too. Lot of respect for both, life is about growing, learning and teaching, a Busta could never admit their wrong

It has to be a humbling experience when a man can talk with another man, like a man and no ill feelings or grudges are held after the conversation is over. I personally salute 🫡 both parties involved, the original @NAS & @JEEZY both are bosses in 2 different areas, 2 different areas, 2 different fan bases but speaking the exact same truth!!!! Just listen!! Peace & Blessings to any and everyone who reads this…

Lyrics/message/story telling close to dead for sure. Massive swathes of population couldn't care less about that now, in fact they actively dismiss it as goofy old head stuff. Pretty much all the songs coming out and hitting 100s of millions of streams are totally brain dead.

Every 5 years they say hiphops dead then it goes 10 more years. They said it wouldn't even survive the 90s back then.

@@j.e3336 of course there's more. Most ppl aren't trying to hear it, it's not what's popular. Being lyrical/cerebral is generally not worth it in today's climate. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

If u call something dead thats wrong too. Nas is like a lot of us sometime. We dont like where the culture is going but thats why we gotta be in the modern times and not of em. Nas jus got that right cuz the new music he is making shows his growth!!!! HIP HOP FOREVER.

First off, I love Nas, and I respect his opinion. However, the REAL argument was between Jeezy and Monie Love, and Nas felt like he was misunderstood by Jeezy, people don't understand how differences of opinions work, he didn't disrespect Nas, he just said tell Nas look at my album sales and tell me hip hop is dead. People are crazy.

This is exactly why in hindsight I see that a lot of these rappers who we thought were official when we were younger were actually scary...Jeezy picked and chose who to get tough with. He flipped his and was ready to get down on Nas over saying "hip hop is dead" but when Pimp C went in on him and he was quiet as a church mouse 🤷
