It's so amazing to see the things that you can find at other Dollar Tree stores. We live in a small town and I remember that once they had the Webkinz but in limited supply and they were gone very quickly. It's amazing that they still have some just sitting on the shelves in California. The Rainforest Cafe looks like a wonderful place. I can already see that you all are having a wonderfully blessed, fun, and adventurous week. Thank you for taking us along with you (and sorry for all of the comments).

You have such a good family sent from the Lord. Jesus is with your entire family. It is so adorable how they all dress the same! How do you style your boys hair? They look like smart, well groomed, neat young Christians.

So much fun watching this. We were there just a few months before y'all (May 2016). My husband and I are both from CA (I was born in Fontana), so we make trips out there often. Our family is spread out all over CA, so lot's of driving. Like you, we were quite the novelty out there....it's a lot of fun. People ask us all the same questions. I loved your story about you reminiscing your trips as a child, and how you dreamed of having a husband and children..and seeing that come to fruition, and feeling blessed. Made me teary-eyed! :) Blessed indeed!

I think its so cool to go on vacation and do normal things like shopping and going out to dinner. I get it- that feeling of being away from it all. :)

So funny I was the last person to comment 6years ago!! The kids were so little!! There’s only one rainforest cafe in IL and it’s over an hour away so we don’t go there but we sometimes go to the one in Florida when we visit my parents for spring break! They like to spend the winter in Florida! It’s a really fun restaurant! Do you think you’ll take another California vacation again?

What will happen when your children want to express themselves with their own choice of clothing? I would have felt so upset if I was told to wear a basic coloured shirt. I'm not criticising if it works then great! Just curious would you allow them to wear what they want if they asked?
