i remember when a leeds fan was giving it at the den, from the top tier. he leaned so far over the barrier that he went over and fell the 30ft or so . hit the griund like a sack of spuds and lay motionless. within seconds the song rang out " you'll never walk again". very funny.

not fully true, as the bow bells could be heard as far souf as camberwell green. there is in effect no such thing anymore. i never remember us as kids mentioning that we were cockneys. i was born 1971.

A lot of Millwall are from over East and the Bow Bells can be heard in Bermondsey and Rotherhithe making those areas Cockney ..

@@Rumpleforeskin77 yeh aw arite mate nae worriz, i thought it was part ov an insult, (hatein west ham n that), millwall were originally from east london werent they? tho, Thats part ov the rivallry with west ham is it not?, Millwalls the only lundun club ive got time for and would love to see ya,s go up. We sing it to all london teams, but i know cockneys are eastenders, Im Leeds

@@horseon4730 yeah we were an isle of dogs team largely made up of Scottish cannery workers hence the name Canning Town over that side . I was treated nicely on a visit to Leeds many years ago by some colourful characters in a pub near York's tv studios as I recall .All the best
