I remember the first match I ever went to was Torquay V Cardiff circa 79 and at the end, about 200 Cardiff came across the pitch. Difference in those days was that they absolutely meant to reach us and fight us whereas these days the so called lads run on the pitch with their arms up in the air goading, but they don't really want a fight.

As I've seen so often so called hard men standing off against each other either side, neither having bottle to come forward. Most hooligans as I've said before are just like bullys who also are only brave when they outnumber people but put same number of them opposite each other and neither have bravery to come forward and if one side moves forward or just few of one side shows bottle to go forward and start laying into others you'll normally get most of other side turning and running. Though understandable that Bradford waited so as on camera it'd be seen as Millwall who lay first blows if they'd dare to go up into Bradford stand then itd look on camera and may get protection from that in court as though Bradford had just been protecting themselves then if they layed blows back.

Sorry matey The County Road Cutters took you out in three separate battles on the day. Millwall aren't what they used to be e.g. it was terrifying approaching the old CBL steps from behind the Kop. Your reputation was destroyed when Pompey turned up en masse. After it looked like you were going to take them they ran you all over the place. Same happened at Cardiff when you were game but only police intervention prevented Millwall fatalities. That day the Valleys turned up in force and you couldn't handle them.
