@@alanhawkins600 So what? He never had anything to do with the football club, and actively supported Liverpool and Celtic and went to their games. He is not the most famous person born in Leeds: Mel B from the Spice Girls, Erling Haaland, and Matthew Lewis (Harry Potter) are far more internationally famous. Roundhay is the poshest part of Leeds, so doesn't count in my books.

I was there at the far side watching and laughing at bouncy fan. On the day I felt no intimidation and the Miiiiiiiiiiiilllllll is so embarrassing. I even went for a pint after in a pub nearby and they were great. Everyone secretly loves Leeds. MOT.

Good idea but, incorrect,in every respect. Jack l'éventreur aka Jacques Le Ripper was based in EAST London whereas MILLWALL have played in SOUTH EAST London for 100 years though the area known as "Millwall" is in East London. Better luck next time.

Leeds do have a loud and fanatical support still, but their hooligan firm is a thing of the past. Just like it is with most football clubs. I'd hardly call Leeds fans 'Millwall of the north'. Maybe for swearing but that is where the similarity ends. Let's be honest, Millwall fans would wipe the floor in a scrap with Leeds. I am a Leeds fan, and went to the Old Den with Leeds in 1985. That ground was the most intimating I have been to.
