I’m thinking of changing to the Milwaukee tools. They look great. I’m shore they will come in handy on our 100 acre property and everyday use in our fabrication workshop.

Hey guys. I'm on my second season with this set. That clunk clunk clunk is the permanent magnet brushless motor cogging, not a gear box. You WILL get that cogging as it coasts to stop, but that should be all. I think you may have a bad trimmer head. Try rewinding the line and see if that cures it. Mine runs smooth and the variable speed is great. I have this one and the dedicated trimmer released a couple years ago. The new unit has slightly more power. The edger will take the same standard edger blades as most gas units and is awesome. The pole saw works great, I've lopped off 6 inch oak and pecan branches with no issues. It cuts limbs fast and clean. I like the solid standard bar mounting. I thought the hook was a gimmick, but ended up using it a lot and it pulls stuck limbs out nicely. The hedge trimmer is amazing, though a bit on the heavy side. The shoulder strap is a great help with that, though especially with the extension. It also works great for knocking down light brush and heavy weeds faster than you can with a string trimmer. The blower isn't a backpack gas blower, but is plenty for blowing off sidewalks, curbs and driveways. And it's a GREAT jobsight blower. Light and compact. I haven't used gas equipment since getting this set. Not cheap, but I haven't regretted buying this set a bit. I have a 1/2 acre yard and can do a full trim, edge and blow on a single 12ah battery. You could use this commercially for well maintained yards but for big overgrown jobs, gas is still king. When you get a chance, get your hands on the m12 surge hydraulic driver, stubby impact drivers, and die grinder. I think you'll like them a LOT. I got the multi head installation driver, but haven't had a chance to put it through it's paces yet. How are you liking the 8ah batteries? I don't have that one yet. For what it's worth, I own the 1st Gen string trimmer (AKA; weed whacker, whipper snipper, grass trimmer, etc) and I do not have any issues with vibration. I've been using for 3 years from trimming to whacking and it does what ever I ask it to do.

Great video. I have the Quik-Lok with the line trimmer attachment and I love it. I don’t compare it any other other trimmer because this is my first one ever. I use it in turtle mode as it’s plenty powerful. The edger is next on my list. I did have the Milwaukee Fuel blower but upgraded to the Ego 580cfm blower.

I have the Milwaukee powerhead and weed wacker attachment I bought it it came with a 9 amp battery and the blower combo I do my whole front yard with it yes it takes a little longer but it gets the job done I use one 12 amp battery for doing the whacking and the blowing yes that did sound wrong oh well. It works as good as my old Echo I'm happy with them keep up the great work and cheers with a beer

Good review, I've got thw blower and wipper snipper as well before the quick lock system come out, and to get the 16" you just spin the line cutter around thats on the guard

I found the whipper snipper head vibrates quite high as well. Which after a while becomes a bit tiring to hold onto. I don’t have any of the the attachments at the moment. I find the blower quite good. But you can never beat petrol for power.

All we we think about when I hear that accent is are you near the fires.

To set the trimmer to 16 inches all you need to do is to loosen the string cutter on the bottom of the gaurd and spin it around 180 degrees.

Do you guys think this unit is comparable to the EGO powerhead for power, runtime and etc?
