0:00-0:12 15 years ago after living in various countries and traveling around the world with two young kids, we made a decision. We wanted to open our own company and design the most beautiful stroller we could imagine.
0:12-0:22 Uniting the passion we had for design and the love for our children, that's how mima was born.
0:42 Starting mima. The word mima (mimar) means pampering or cuddling.
0.50-1.02 In 2009, we launched the mima brand during the Kind&Jugend trade show in Germany. At that time, many of the companies were focusing on engineering and functionality while our strollers stood out for its unique design. Immaculate white strollers with trendy coloured seat pads.
1:04-1.10 It was an innovative approach that captured the attention and admiration of many.
1:10-1:14 We even managed to win the Kind&Jugend Innovation Award in 2009.
1:15- 1:28 Today mima is facing a different situation, over the years many other stroller brands have invested heavily in design and innovation. Every year it seems that the world get's flooded with new stroller models with all kinds of smart features.
1:29-1:50 These current circumstances have forced us to think very hard about the future of mima. After all, we have to make sure that the mima brand has a compelling reason to exist. We've created a new vision for mima, built around one word. A word that we have heard so many times when asking our mima consumers about their experience with our products, and this word is "elegance".
1:51-2.04 Elegance is a beautiful and powerful word: being called elegant may be one of the most underrated compliments a person could get. It's not just an external attribute but a deep seated quality that defines the very essence of an individual or even a company.

Ofcoure, this is very subjective, but we truly believe that plenty of parents will truly appreciate the smooth elegant lines and the attention to detail.
3:16-3:32 The innovative and patented PHS (Polymeric Hybrid System) material, has allowed us to create elegant, smooth and sleek shapes while providing comfort and safety. It is basically the same material you may find in bicycle helmets. It is lightweight and shock absorbing.
3:33-3:46 Creo has been designed for the future, a green future. We have chosen raw materials and production technologies to achieve one of the lowest carbon footprints of any strollers out there.
3:47-4.00 Creo has also been designed for optimum End of Life recycling. It is fully recyclable and very easy to dissemble. There is no need to take the seat apart, because it is all made of the same environmentally friendly PHS material.
