I have completed my mechanical engineering in 2022 so should I go for MEM is it a good decision because I need to have good education in usa and have job experience in USA market and then I wnat ro shift to middle east so will my studies and experience will give me benefits in middle eastern market
@MiMEssay Жыл бұрын
Hey, If you plan to work in the Middle East in the future, having a MEM degree from a reputable US university can give you a competitive edge in the job market. However, it's important to note that job opportunities and requirements may vary depending on the specific country and industry you want to work in. In addition to education, gaining work experience in the US market can also be valuable. This can help you gain exposure to different industries and business practices, as well as develop a professional network. Again, having US work experience may be seen as an advantage when applying for jobs in the Middle East. Overall, pursuing a MEM degree and gaining work experience in the US can provide you with valuable skills and experience that can potentially benefit you in the Middle Eastern market. @MiMEssay3 жыл бұрын
Hey Lata , Masters in Engineering Management (MEM) is a specially designed degree for engineering graduates to build the link between engineering, technology and management. Known famously as the ‘Engineer’s MBA’, the MEM degree is the perfect match for the engineering graduates who want to give a jump to their monotonously moving career path. The degree is associated with the management of the engineering process, thus making good use of the engineering knowledge of the students. The program is a great platform for those young or experienced engineering graduates who want to take technical management and leadership role in big technical firms. It is expected that the student has appropriate knowledge of his engineering field. The students from the science and mathematics field can also join this program, but they need to develop the basic skills of engineering. Also, introductory knowledge of management and business laws is a good advantage to have if you are willing to pursue this degree. All in all, you can definitely pursue a MEM degree. Hey Subhiksha , Masters in Engineering Management program is for students with an undergraduate degree in engineering. It will help them to build a link between engineering, technology and management. It is a program requiring full-time studies. Coming over to your question, most b-schools do not ask for mandatory work experience for MEM programs. Ideally, candidates with 0 to 3 years of experience are admitted into the program. Your work experience in various fields will be considered by the program’s cohort. However, at the end of the day, it all depends on how you present yourself and your experiences in your profile.
