That press conference was a giant dumpster fire. And basically boiled down to: 1) the leaders of a huge corporation are trying to make sure they have better product than the competition (like duh, that's business) 2) they used flattery to get a desired employee to their company (again, duh) 3) she would be the crazy ex gf that no one wants I just really really hope that the industry doesn't turn on the girls too badly cause they're still so young. According to my Korean friends it's a big no no for shamans to be brought up in a public forum... but that I don't know about.

There is NO WAY Hybe would make these allegations and cause their own share prices to drop without solid evidence. MHJ is not a songwriter for NJ, she is not a musician for NJ, she does not choreograph NJ. She comes up with concepts, that is it. She is a salaried employee of Hybe with some shares gifted by Bang PD. Hybe owns ADOR and it is Hybe money that funds all MHJ projects for New Jeans. She has access to the best at no cost to her personally. So there is no 'plagiarism'. All these groups come under Hybe, they put up all the funds and assume all the risk. You don't tell your boss what to do, give ultimatums or reguse to comply with audits. She got given too much, too soon and with too much autonomy. Would she mortgage everything she has, go £10m in debt and face bankruptcy for NJ like Bang PD did for BTS? I very much doubt it. 💜

When she had the first press conference, coming out in that green striped top hair, lanky cap water head, I thought what the heck? And now she is trying to tear apart the company that BTS built on their backs and that just pisses me off. At the end of the day the public/general opinions will not be the deciding fact in this case. The court will decide based on the actual evidence. Hybe, will be just fine due to a lot of the finances come from the fandom of each artist and not the general public.

She had that press conference to get public sympathy. She didn't refute any of the charges and brought in how New Jeans and their parents care about her and a lot of crying and cursing. Shamans must make a lot of money in South Korea. Heck, even my grandmother was a shaman. Every country's got a problem. HYBE went public, filed a police report and entered the legal arena because they have solid evidence (breach of trust, misuse of funds, disclosure of personal information, plans to destroy and acquire Adore by forcing a sale via Put Option, poaching NewJeans, using a shaman for corporate decisions, etc.). IMO, this whole matter is sickening. Her claims keep changing and appear farfetched, needing solid evidence. Her press conference was a tell-tell sign, unprofessional, and a disastrous attempt to manipulate the general public and media. She went public with internal matters, as a CEO and Art Director showed up sporting the latest Bag Lady Look (highly unusual to a South Korean CEO), used profane language, insulted group members, acted unhinged, didn't listen to her lawyers, cried, and didn't have solid proof for her claims amongst other things. Now, her late accusation is alleged planted evidence against her. The conglomerate doesn't need to "plant evidence"; it has personnel evaluation systems, can issue remedial measures, and can terminate employment without making a public spectacle that damages the corporation, artists, shareholders, employees and the country. In her case, all that is needed is for the board of directors to decide. So far, she comes across as unethical, greedy, panicked, obstinate, untrustworthy, and fixated on easily disproved claims. She comes across as a disgruntled employee attempting to take everyone down with her. Meanwhile, HYBE is just getting started with the initial investigation. Shortly, the South Korean Criminal Act (Article 356 and Article 356 (2)), the Commercial Act (Article 622), and the Act on the Aggravated Punishments, etc. for Specific Economic Crimes ("Specific Economic Crime Act," Article 3) will hit her and her accomplices like a tsunami. It will be interesting to see the findings of the forensic audits and both side's full evidence. HYBE will make moves she never imagined to protect their artist and corporation.💜

I stan a lot of hybe groups. BTS were the first that got me into k-pop, later I'd stan txt and enhypen, and a casual listener to seventeen and le sserafim. I was a casual listener to new jeans, but after the mv for cookies, then later the weird posts on her ig and the warning sm stans tried to give about her weird behavior towards younger idols (not ti mention that most of the girls are literally MINORS), I just stayed away from the group for the time being. I don't listen to illit, but the hate both illit and le sserafim have gotten is ridiculous. First of all, you can't copyright a concept. Even if both groups' concepts are 0.000001% similar, and concept is a concept. Second, you don't name drop groups to divert from the serious claims the company have against you, including your own group to gain sympathy points. Now it's getting to the point where somu, is threatening legal action against any hate towards le sserafim (and honestly, they should of done this during their hate train in their Coachella performance). I feel sorry for all the groups that are involved into this situation and deserve an apology from hybe, mhj, and the general public from stacking more hate towards the groups. And mhj needs to be fired and put in jail for releasing personal information about groups and trainees under hybe.

One of the problems is that, whether MHJ is guilty or not, there will be these people who have been so jealous toward Bang PD’s success and HYBE’s current power status in the music industry. So, when something like these happen, those people will be coming at Bang Pd like sharks just to take him down. And this stupid woman, MHJ created this whole mess to cover and deflect her own faults. Anyone who tries to harm BTS, He or she will be my enemy.(I don't mean New Jeans our enemy) RM's album will be released on the same day as New Jeans. Strangely, each agency's artists, New Jeans and RM, compete with instead of Bang and Min. In Korea, public opinion is leaning toward Min, so RM will not get a high ranking.
