Also yes you guys were spot on! Officers in the defense corps have natural aptitudes to certain weapons. Mina’s aptitude for firearms is so incredibly high at 96 percent, that even her use of a pistol looks like Kikoru shooting a rifle. She’s THAT powerful. On the other hand, she is sooo incredibly bad with bladed weaponry that she even avoids using knives for cooking, because she cuts herself too much 🤣

Great episode guys! To answer some of your questions, the end of this episode is the same ending panel of chapter 14. The manga is currently at chapter 106. If I had to guess, I would say next weeks episode will end at final panel of 19 or midway through chapter 20. The manga honestly moves at a breakneck speed, SO much happens in the first 50ish chapters it’s kind of crazy. And yes, Kaiju have been around for (as far as we know) MOST of recorded history! If you look at the background of the men’s bathhouse scene, there is a tile mural of people fighting Kaiju from horseback with spears and katanas 😮

Kikoru has a shitty father who never praised her, so getting that from the "old dude" Kafka is definitely more like a father figure to her. lol. Also her power level is loads higher than the rest of the recruits, that's why she doesn't have to fire as much. She's a badass. Poor Kafka though, has to use a pistol because he still can't carry an AR lol.

You Know Jujutsu Kaisen season 1 had a lot of comedy.. Shibuya arc in Kaiju No. 8.. is fire. Just like JJK 🗿 Comedy Gets Less And Less in Manga as chapter goes.. (In second s season if it gets another.. I hope it gets 🤞)
