See what happened was minato used the reaper the split kurama in half into the yin and yan forms then used the 8 triagram seal on the yin side and then played tug of war with the other half of kurama to seal it into him! The reason he didn’t just use 8 triagram seal twice is because he needed the reaper to split the chakra and once you summon the reaper your dead regardless of if you seal what your trying to seal or not

Minato could use perfect sage mode alive. Minato wasn't very good at pulling in the sage mode chakra. It took him time and needed to be still. Not really useful when you're a speed blitzing flash on a battlefield. Naruto overcame this by using clones and later Kurama to do the pulling in of sage chakra. Hashirama found a way to stay still by staying on his constructs. Jiraya used Ma & Pa. Minato was able to use Kurama to pull sage chakra for him in Edo Tensei.

Naruto is not suppressing kurama at the point in the story that remark is made. Naruto and kurama are buddies, teammates, and he no longer has to “force” kurama to stay. The seal is only there as a power supply controller because kurama was supposed to be evil. You need the seal to suppress tailed beast resistance, but the chakra being supplied as an agreement isnt the same. Similar to how momoshiki is waiting for boruto to allow him to take over- he wont have to fight any “seal” or resisting so he would gain full control without a fight

Naruto is still able to use sage of six paths mode because he has some Chakra from all the tailed beasts but that would only Amp his body's durability wouldn't it? Minato had sage mode so he can mix nature Chakra into the cloak already. I'd say there's not much of a difference in the defense of their avatars, but naruto has a more durable body

Basically the Amp they got from the sage of six paths is gone, but from receiving it and other outside influences Naruto and saskue are given permanent amps sure. But that's just it, Naruto got the Amp, not the ninetails, so wouldn't that also go to show that the avatars would be the same between him and the 4th? The 4th already had sage mode, the only real Amp narutos avatar would have gotten. Sure six paths would increase his jutsus power, but it's never really said if it helps with durability.

Basically og naruto edo tensei were 25% or thereabouts of their former selves because orochimaru didn't perfect it, the reason why hiruzen tried to make sure Minato was never brought back is because he was meant to be the strongest hokage but that got retconned to being hashirama at the start of shippuden I believe and when kabuto used edo tense he had nearly perfected it after researching it more after orochimaru had died so they were close to their full power when they were brought back

Minato ain’t even beating Ohnoki let’s be real here let alone touching Hashirama.

See your character control doesn’t play any part in the reaper death seal once you summon the reaper and it begins to pull your opponents soul out of their body it’s just a straight tug of war and whoever has the most chakra “wins” I say it in quotation because you both die at the end but yeah even if you have great chakra control if your enemy has 100 chakra points and you only have 50 chakra points you won’t be able to seal their whole soul and if it’s less than that then what happened to orochimaru will happen and only the souls of your arms or legs will be taken

I've been backing this idea since forever. It's much more reasonable to think Minato has masstered the Flying Raijin 1000 times better than his 3 Jounin guards who got depleted after teleporting Mei, rather than thinking he had 1000 times more chackra to spam his Flying Raijin. Same with Reaper Death Seal, and all the more complex versions of Flying Raijin. @@jeremiahstfort2527 That same tug of war argument fails when you see that Hiruzen's clones sealed Edo Tensei. And Edo Tensei have INFINITE chackra. It's like the difference between strength and stamina. Hiruzen's clones were STRONGER than those versions of Hashirama and Tobirama Edo Tensei. BUT the same Hiruzen was not STRONG enough to pull out more than Orochimaru's arms. He decided to cut it when he couldn't keep up that strength output because his STAMINA ran out.

Hashirama has almost everything else over Minato but speed...just don't claim bs by saying Ay said this or that because we saw minato's speed feats after he came back and he got to the battlefield,placed his kunais and teleported a ten tails biju bomb before any of the other hokages got to the battlefield so thinking because Ay complimented Naruto based on the speed he witnessed from Minato all those years ago didn't mean he knew or accurately scaled minato's exact speed and ftg is instantaneous and Say didn't say him and Minato were relative in speed he outrightly said that no Shinobi has outsped him since the fourth hokage which we saw in their face off when Ay was about to throw a punch in minato's face and Minato still had all the time to flick his kunais up before he now teleported out of there and Ay even seemed to be moving in slow mo just like the scene with eight gates Gai when Minato turned around in gai's face and caught the TSO and teleported to konoha and removed his hokage jacket before the TSO touched his body. His speed feats are just insane but somehow we have crazy fans who still try to downplay his speed lol. Bunch of weirdos!

i dont see what you see here, stat for stat hashirama hits harder, is ridiculously more durable, and has far more stamina. minato is for sure faster but hashirama has to be pretty fast himself to combat dual EMS alive madara. in a straight up taijutsu fight, minato loses on AP, stamina and durability, all hax and buffs taken into account including the edo ones, hashirama negates minatos biggest buff which is KCM, not to mention the gigantic fuck you 1000 arm statue that hashirama can pull out of his ass in a sage mode hashirama vs sage mode minato fight

He can just stall minato if the fight comes to it

Not true at all hashiramas chackra is equal to Naruto’s base uzumaki chackra plus half kurama plus frog sage mode.

i am sure hashirama has no half kurama level chakra! more like 2-3 tails level! also it's fact how the wood style was the weakness of kurama because his chakra is soo powerful and full of life and the wood just absorb it and growing... (even without physical touch yamato's wood pillers just become twice... and it was kurama's half chakra's first level! (around 30-40%...)
