Being able to survive to old age is an accomplishment worthy of respect, but I admire the first guy because he played the guitar very well. That is an accomplishment regardless of your age.

I know many older blokes (probably older than this guy) that play the same style. It’s just amazing for ‘this show’ but so many guys in their bedrooms can shred the same

I remember reading a story in a body building magazine years ago where they we're talking about this old guy that helped out during the competition. When the meet ended, he helped clean etc. One of things they do is of course get the weights off the stage. The old man goes out on the stage, and grabs the final winning weight with one hand, and some other stuff in his other hand and carries it all of the stage like it was no thing at all.

As for the first guitarist, the older guy, never, ever, ever, judge a guitar player by their looks. That quiet dorky guy or girl you see walking the hall could have the soul of souls and in private might rock like you've never heard. And as you get older, that rock-and-roll kid in you never goes away.

David knew it was neoclassical but a lot of people think it was just random notes. That's the power of music only few would hear what's behind every notes.
