I learned about something called the commonplace book, it's a similar concept to the mind garden

Hey. Yeah it is similar. But with a mind garden, the goal is to write notes in your own words and connect the notes (like to the Zettelkasten method). Where a commonplace book is more of a collection of other’s ideas for reference. I do both actually. I’ve got a CP book (in Craft) as well as a place for notes in my own words. I like to go back and reference my CP book then write about the quote in a new note but linking the quote using bidirectional linking. Hope that all makes sense!

I tried diving into my notes but hit my head on the desk. Next time, I'll review and read then instead.

I've watched many videos in youtube which is related to zettelkasten and similar pkm. My impression is that, i think those methods including mind gardens, it is about how to gaining new idea from abstract ideas. This is good for those who works or interested in ideas or social science. However, as scientists or engineers, these methods seem don't work well because we are developing concept or idea based on empirical or mathematical perspective, not from ideas. However, it may be useful to recall or remember some facts. Maybe, for your future video you can discuss about this issue and explain how the scientist (eg. natural scientist) and engineers get benefit from this pkm. Thank you..

I know you make a whiteboard shareable but the experience is going to be different. Viewing whiteboards on mobile is not the best experience and can be hard to navigate. It's something to look in to though.
