Whether you watch on a Monday or any other day of the week, spend a few minutes with me as I make a small piece of art and practice mindfulness and being present in the moment. Each video in this series will be somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes long. I will not be talking but there will sometimes be some quiet music to also help set the scene. This episode is a clip from my recent slow stitched rustic fabric journal video. Here's the link to the full video:

I sit on my front porch every morning with my first cup of coffee to listen to the orchestra of birds at dawn! Love the slow stitching💕

Glad you enjoyed it Evelyn. It’s almost 6pm here (Tuesday) and the birds are still chirping away - despite the rain. I have a blackbird at the moment that as soon as I step out the door he is there and looking for food. And he follows me all around until I go and get more - the other day he even hopped into the garage and sat and waited on me when I was getting out of the tub of bird food. I do love my bird family 💗

Thos eas wonderful Kylie. Can you share what you use to film with? I love how clear it is when you zoom in.

Hi Amy. Thank you 😊 I am so sorry - I know you asked me before about the camera I use and I did not get round to replying at the time - sorry about that. Anyway, I use a Panasonic HC-V770. It has the flip-out view screen which I find very helpful when filming especially when overhead filming - though I still manage to go out of shot sometimes! The focus on it is really good and I can zoom in really closely. I also think the sound quality is good on it. There are different sound settings on it but after trying them all I feel the one that I use is the best sound. I’ve had the camera almost all the time since I started KZfaq (only a couple of my early videos were filmed before I had it) - so I have probably had it for 8 years now. I’m not sure but more than likely there will be a newer model available. I edit using iMovie. Do you use iMovie? This camera was listed as one that was compatible with it though after one iMovie update I did have an issue but I managed to change the settings on the camera and rectified the issue. I can give you more info on that if you need. If you have any other questions on it then I would be very happy to help. Best wishes to you. Kylie xo

Thank you so much Kylie I will look it up. You have given me plenty of information. I do not use iMovie I have a Samsung phone but I'm sure maybe I could put it into my computer I don't know anything about any of that so it'll probably continue to be unedited like I do now. May your day be filled with sunshine and bird song

I should have said that it is a camcorder rather than a camera as such, though I think it is possible to take stills with it. You can actually edit as you go just by switching off and restarting when you have to - I expect you do that already. The camcorder uses a SD memory card and I can take it out and put it right into my iMac. However, it also has a cable and it can just be plugged directly in to my computer. If there is anything I can help with then please do ask 💗
