Takes ONE day to stitch! Join me your stitch buddy while you embroider silk ribbon embroidery pendant designs of an Iris and a Tulip. Inspired by images and techniques in Di Van Niekerk's book "Ribbon Embroidery & Stumpwork”, I’ve embroidered gorgeous pendants as perfect gifts you can stitch in a day. This video is a stitch along to the Iris and Tulip pendants and is Part 1 of a two part video series.

You can order your pendant kits on etsy or from Nunn Deisgn.
Of course you can use any pendant kit you have to make this and replace the metal insert with stiff felt, stiff cardboard or model making card paper. Just note that the pendant can’t get wet if the insert is paper based. 😍 Show your love and support my channel by liking the video 👍.

Iris: 7mm dark yellow silk ribbon, 4mm light yellow silk ribbon, 4mm golden brown yellow varieted silk ribbon, 4mm green ribbon, 6mm green organza ribbon, no. 24 wire, green perle thread.
Tullips: 4mm red silk ribbon, 4mm light green ribbon, 4mm dark green silk regards ribbon.

Size grande, 44.3x27.9x3.6mm. I don’t see the whole embroidery kit being sold on Nunn design Website any longer. But you can find them on Etsy as full kits.

I feel it's unfair to give a thumbs down and not say why. In my opinion, the video feels frantic. The narration is too fast. It doesn't sound like natural speech. Coupled with the accelerated pace of the footage, it feels rushed, in my opinion.

Thanks for the feedback. I do not artificially speed up my narration. I do speed up parts of the video after explaining a stitch technique to ensure videos are not too long. I hear you about feeling rushed and will try and find a balance. Thanks
