I see the suicide in the opening scene of the series isn't here; fair play to fincher and the actor for blowing off their head for real.

The best VFX is when you can't tell it's VFX

That's so cool that they removed the curb ramp/curb cuts in the final scene, that's a great attention to historical accuracy since curb cuts like that weren't implemented in the states until the ADA in the 90's.

The sidewalk changes blew my mind. Incredible attention to detail

I recently heard about accessible sidewalks- the fact that these were edited out to fit the time period is such a subtle consideration- the attention to detail is staggering!

As a child of the 70s and a teen of the 80s, I LOVE how much detail is placed to make it feel "right". Even down to the point where they delete the sidewalk handicap ramps that we all take for granted today. Amazing show, PLEASE COME BACK after this COVID-19 nightmare has ended!

I love Fincher's idea of this "ghost VFX" where the VFX is completely inconspicuous. He has applied this type to even The Social network and Zodiac.

It is crazy some of the small details, like removing the wheel chair accessible ramps at cross walks. Which is great attention to details as I assume these where not common in the 70s.

Every once in awhile KZfaq suggests something and hits the nail on the head. This is one of those times.

Mindblowing use of visual effects, the devil is in the detail and Mindhunter is layered in large and small details. So sad there is no third series being produced. Everyone whats to see BTK in action and caught.

They did such a phenomenal job with this series. I love how most of the lighting is natural, and they made the color and atmosphere so drab, and dark. I noticed in the scenes where the agents are with family or doing things unrelated to the job the colors are much more vibrant and colorful

I actually remember as a little kid when the crews came through our neighborhood and cut out the sidewalk corners to pour new ones with ramps. Yet another reason why the production value of this show is astounding.
