Where can I find this because I can’t find anything on where they apologized. Imagine thinking this was okay.. they made this nonsense in the late 90s/early 2000s. They could run along and spew whatever slurs they wanted and say whatever they wanted without any repercussions- contributing to loads of oppression. People can change but listening and supporting this band still? Isn’t okay. Maybe if they ACTUALLY changed and made a visible effort in doing so you could listen to new songs if they ever released any. But instead you go back to old songs like this and say it’s “okay.” You say people can change, (which I believe too given certain circumstances) yet you go back and listen to these disgusting songs. That defeats the purpose. Why would you go back and listen to music they had when they were promoting these awful things? I don’t care if it’s not supporting the artist- it’s still not okay at all. You call yourself a fan bold and proud. Imagine being black and going online and seeing music of a white person using the n-word multiple times and then seeing a bunch of non-black fans loving it. Would you know how that feels? Of course not, you’re privileged. And the fact that you condone this disgusts me. I used to listen to a few of their songs and I was pretty into it, but then I found out about who this band really is. Racism, sexism, slurs, homophobia, pedophilia- just about every horrible thing in the book. I get that it’s satire but it has a limit, don’t you think? I doubt this would change anything, but, consider who- WHAT you’re justifying. Especially not even being someone who may be affected by this.

@@sombervhs I've seen quite a few people absolutely losing their sh*t and calling Jimmy a racist or a white-supremicist (despite the fact that he's not white) and other ridiculous stuff like that. But do elaborate on the South Park thing, because personally to me it fits really well. Their main point is to be offensive and controversial, check. They both originated from the late nineties, check. And they're both seeing a resurgence in popularity in recent years, check. But that's at least how I see it, it's sort of just a convenient hook to get people into the band; saying that it's "the South Park of bands" is sure to catch a lot of people's attention.
