I think Saw would work better as a Telltale style interactive movie. It doesn’t really lend itself well to traditional action-adventure gameplay.

I think that it could possibly work but you'd need to take a few creative liberty's to fully achieve it. Make the game first person and give it Condemned styled combat between the saw puzzles with a little bit of resident evil style level design where you have safe rooms, crafting and puzzles.

Ooh maybe like one of those playable horror movie games. (Until Dawn, Dark Anthology, The Quarry) they all have a basically Saw section where you have to get past traps and escape

The girl you save in this game is Amanda Young. Her appearance is supposed to be based on her appearance in SAW II. The reason why Pighead kidnapped her is because by the time Amanda escaped, she already became Jigsaw’s apprentice. So the kidnapping was just a cover to ensure her escape without revealing that she is working for Jigsaw.

A few years ago, a couple friends and I had a Saw marathon. The story is actually so intertwined, and good. You’ll only fully understand by binge watching so everything is fresh in your mind. If I remember correctly, the newest one that happened was somehow a prequel and a sequel at the same time lmfao

I think Jigsaw unborn child was murdered by a drug addicted that tried to rob the medical clinic his wife was working late at… on top of the him having cancer situation. Also I think the drug addicted ended up killing himself from guilt before the judge could sentence him. So Jigsaw decided to start taking justice into his own hands.

I hope they will play the Saw 2 game too. And in the beginning its easy but later the puzzles in this game becomes extremely hard, stressful and frustrating. But i still like the Saw games even if the puzzles can be very annoying.

The Saw franchise actually has a really extensive storyline..It was very innovative especially for its time and especially for a horror movie..The game wasn't that good but the movies (At least the first 4) were all time classics

The Saw franchise has a garbage story beyond the first few films everything after that is pretty garbage and straight garbo by the time you get to Saw 3D, Spiral, Jigsaw. Saw X has a decent story IF you turn off your brain and, have never seen how someone with cancer starts to get when they approach end of life. Because they sure as hell wouldn't be thinking of traps, building command centers, thinking straight etc.

@@lutherheggs451 I mean I did say "at least the first 4" meaning that's all I was deffending..after 4 it got convoluted..but as far as your analysis on jigsaw, you're trying to apply rational logic to a serial killer from a movie..even so, jigsaw had a level of philosophy and psycology that no other horror movie character has had before or since...yes, obviously any horror movie requires some suspension of disbelief..youre just being a cynic lol..just saying, to say it had "no story line" is just a generic horror movie criticism that doesn't apply to Saw

There’s this one game that might intrigue you, Ghostbusters: The Video Game, its on Xbox 360 and PS3, the remaster is on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, the game released alongside a different version of it, a more cartoonish version of the game, it’s on the PS2 and Wii, it’s essentially the third movie, both are a great play, you should try it out. Side note: The Wii/PS2 version has story multiplayer but the Xbox 360/PS3 version doesn’t.

Billy being the puppet name is never actually identified in any of the films. James Wan the director and Co- creator and co- Writer of the Saw franchise who also co created Billy the puppet is the one that name it billy. Writers, directors and members of the Cast and crew refer to the puppet as Billy in documentaries and interviews

I've already played the first one after Hen enabling my super slim ps3, it's a very underrated game and it's not your typical movie licensed game as there its plenty to do and has good replay value. The iso sizes were only a couple of GB's so I thought why not. 😀

Its fuse box maintenance the game, the "paranoia" mechanic never worked anything close to what people remember it being, the combat is laughable and mediocre if not straight up bad, the story is mid as mid can be. There seem to be alot of people who played it when they were 12 and they thought it was great so they remember it that way.

This game is very flawed, but I have a lot of nostalgia for it since I played it when it first came out and it was actually the first horror video game I ever played. Without Saw, I might never have gotten into Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Dead Space, Amnesia, etc. Plus, I'm a big fan of the movies, so I can't help but have a bit of a soft spot for this game.

An odd thing they did for the game is that the playable character is the character David Tapp, who was played by Danny Glover in the first movie, and apperantly even in 2009, it was too expensive to get him back. Oh well.
