Around the arc when he contemplate on his action more than before, especially after he met Yagyuu Sekishusai who had become his goal in being an 'invincible' swordman. While he was there he also met with his childhood friend, the only heroine in his life but still can't be together with her, and even further through the story he kept thinking about her and even draw a picture of her almost every night. But still didn't get together with her.
