Honorifics is how u respectfully speak to someone, so like in Korean there would be a certain way u would speak to someone older than you than if u were speaking to someone younger. It’s a form of respect. For instance u can’t just call an older person by their name it would be considered disrespectful or like if u were to ask an older person for something it would be a bit different than how u ask someone younger than you. Respect is very big in Korea so it is important to use honourifics or u would be considered disrespectful.

Cantonese is like a variation of Chinese. It's technically not a dialect but it's own language within the Chinese Language family but to make it easier to explain, its typically treated the same way a dialect is seen. It's the 2nd most common variation of Chinese after Mandarin (which is the most commonly spoken language in the world and what most people know as "Chinese"). Cantonese is most commonly spoken in Southeastern China, Hong Kong, and Macau. Lucas is from Hong Kong. Funfact: 3 members of WayV speak fluent Cantonese, Lucas, Hendery (from Macau), and XiaoJun (from Guangzhou China).

honorifics are rly important in korean culture for proper conversation and relationship-building, and if u forget to use them u can be seen as very disrespectful ( like u guys already know the younger ones call the older members > hyung which means older brother) Cantonese language is different and they dont use honorifics.

honorific is basically formal language that's used to show respect. For example, in Korea when you're speaking to someone who is older than you or if you're speaking to stranger, you would typically use formal/respectful spech instead of just using casual speech.

Honorifics are titles of the person, like you call a guy mister, then a female counterpart miss. In Korean you use honorifics for everybody, also the honorifics changes depending on who your are to the person you are talking to, like if you have an older sister and you’re a male you will have to call her noona, and if you have an older brother you’ll call him hyung, but if you are girl with an older sister, you’ll call her unnie, and older brother oppa. (Nona and oppa are also suggestive sometimes like how in the west “daddy” is also used for dating or in that sense). Basically that’s what honorifics are, also Koreans use formal and informal speaking, this also depends on who they are talking to.

simply the honorifics are like 'Hyung' then 'dongsaeng' 'sunbaenim' just its like the way how u adress the younger people, or how u talk to older ones and so. I't pretty BIG issue in korea ^^

Can i just say that i feel so happy that you guys are enjoying both EXO and NCT cause i love those two groups so much😭 and seeing all this content from you guys is great. Can’t wait for subpar guide especially nct dream(my favorite subunit) i would also recommend watching both part 1 and 2 of NCT dream’s subpar guide. I know people will recommend part 2 more cause that’s the updated guide but the reason why I recommend both is because it’s actually not the same guide. What i mean bu that is that the part two is not only updated but also has a completely different content from the first guide(different descriptions and different clips) i think watching both guides will help a lot. Thank you for the exo and nct reactions!

Cantonese is dialect from Canton (Guangdong) China. Hongkong was part of Canton, so they also speak Cantonese, but also other cities of province Guangdong and Guangxi and Macao. Every city/province of China has own kind of dialect. But we all learn mandarin for communication, otherwise people from different cities can not fully understand each other.

Cantonese is a language from the Guangdong Province of China, former Canton Kingdom, also includes the islands of Hong Kong and Macau.

Had fun watching it! 😊Bcs Im Korean, it is really interesting seeing your reaction to all these happenings going on in Nct (bcs of 13foreigners...) I always wish the memes get to you bcs it is translated or sth but it is only understandable when you realize its all just rhyme thingy or else.. that way nctvideos are gonna be way much funnier and maybe you do 💗💗 Waiting for the next video👍🏻
