Assam Regiment Battle Song - Being Relavant to the Nation
Julia Ward Howe was inspired by hearing the American Civil War song in 1861. She liked the tune but not lyrics so wrote " Mine Eyes Have Seen The Glory" . Incidently the American Civil War ( Battle Hymn) tune was actually taken from a Methodist hymn "Say Brother , Will You Meet Us" written in late 1700 by Willian Steffe .The chorus is same as then ie Glory Glory Hallelujah (× 3). • Say Brothers, Will You...
Classic Hymns has prayerfully chosen this hymn in the latest album released on 2nd Oct 2022 as the Assam Regiment uses the same tune for their song (Badluram Ka Badan - • Badluram Ka Badan orig... ). The chorus of the Assam Regiment song is retained as " Hallelujah". This song and tune is in the blood of every Assamese of all age groups and they sing it. The Lord has left a door of opportunity in it. By singing the original hymn, its surely a way to connect with the Nation and making hymns relavent . Mark, Christianity came to the subcontinent of India 2000 years ago when St. Thomas ,one of the 12 disciples of our Lord Jesus came to South India, specifically to the State of Kerala to preach the good news. Sadly he was murdered on the outskirts of the city of Madras, now called Chennai. Mount St.Thomas in Chennai is named in his honor! Although the Christians had their own hymns in their respective languages, the British occupation of India is what allowed the Indian Christians to sing these English Hymns!. Years ago, USA used to send missionaries to other countries, my parents met Jesus through an American missionary in Mexico, not only was my family saved, now my uncles, aunts, cousins, and we have pastors, and,evangelists and missionaries in our family.back then being an evangelical in Mexico was dangerous,catholics were very agresive against evangelic people.However, even against everything, the gospel reached many Mexican people.

These are true followers of Jesus Christ.From the 4 corners of the Earth. will come those that are to be saved. In USA and Europe there is a watered down Christianity....without Jesus.NO Salvation for God can Not be mocked.Praise God for these sisters and brothers from India.

There can't be a worship without hymns I think. Psalm 69:30 NIV “I will praise God's name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving. ” What could be a better place to do this than worship?

His truth is inconvenient but the Brood of Vipers Lies are comfortable. Jesus warned us about these the climate change END TIMES with the book of REVELATION & the cause with the 7 north stars of the PRECESSION of the Alpha Omega equinoxes he held in his hand. These are just the BIRTHING PAINS of he climate change END TIMES. Noah's floods tidal waves won't get pulled around the planet by the moon until the 2033 major conjunction of the planets.
