We need to act like a 3rd world country and nationalize our oil and gas and not settle for a cursory tax from the multinational oil corporations that OWN our oil and gas as soon as it’s discovered and pumped out of the ground to be sold to the highest bidder in the global economy driving up the price of gas for all. We Congress should pass laws so the same corporate greed dies not ‘infect’ lithium mining- let’s not give the store away as we have with oil and gas retrieval on Federal lands. So when the oil companies drill , they don’t keep this treasure for their multinational stockholders. The American public is being fooled and swindled by these deceptive dishonest politicians.

I remember wana clip in one of the Syria live leak compilations where that happened. Some small news channel was there covering the war and you see a buffalo vehicle in the background come into the picture. 15 seconds later it hit something and 💥💥💥. The shockwave after you see the explosion go off was massive. I'm pretty sure the troops were okay only minor injuries.

I agree but Russia would likely try to attack again in the future so its better to keep fighting them now and not let them recooperate and regroup their forces so Ukraine is probably now in the best position its ever going to get to really defeat Russia enough to force peace talks in which immediately after they will join the EU and NATO to guarantee the protection from Article 5 forcing Russia to give up on ever even thinking of attacking Ukraine again but most likey Russia will lose control of its controlled states and countries as Russia will be shown and proven to be weak to the world so everyone unhappy with being under russian occupation will rebel and break off from Russian control Belarus or Chechnya for example

Actually Bro me being a US citizen born and raised, I’ve seen a lot of homeless and in fact there is ALOT of help for them but most of them not willing to change for themselves. It’s a very sad thing but how do we take care of them? I mean we can’t force them, we have a lot of programs that offer free housing, free food, also clothing but most rather choose drugs.

MRAPs love to roll over. Our unit had two in Iraq. Never rode in one. Only patrolled with one as part of a convoy once and it got stuck, prolonging the mission by like 11 hours. We mostly used both as miniature day rooms because their air conditioners were newer and better than the ones in our hummers and living areas.

Homeless people want to be free, it’s not about giving them a hpuse. They are not gonna pay rent and then they lose it again and you’ll complain about that. Homelessness is a symptom of a problem, if you only treat symptoms you’re gonna run out of ressources and perish when the untreated problem gets worse.

So, how many more systems are needed to be tested before our diplomats try some diplomacy to attempt to end this war. There are a lot of issues on both sides that are being played with by third parties that make this war a very volatile tinderbox for starting an even greater conflict. Lessons from history are being ignored. Underlying it all is an entrenched world of corruption. This corruption is pretty much imbedded in many of the politicians, bureaucrats, and oligarchs of industry, legal and illegal. The vehicles they used in A-Stan and later stages of Iraq war would be vital in Ukraine, since they're heavily resistant to IEDs, so land mines would probably be the best fit for these vehicles

It’s called a MRAP. Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected…It can’t stop all rockets that’s a lie. It’s more so great for land mines and the like. The bottom of the vehicle is built in V shape to deflect the mine energy away from the cabin. Is it REALLY mine resistant ? I thought vehicles had to have a “V-shaped” bottom.That configuration helps deflect a lot of a mine blast from incurring significant damage to the interior and thus decreasing soldiers’ mortality. A British race car designer ( a civilian ) actually came up with that design as he was trying to figure out how to help the British soldiers in Afghanistan who were being blown up by IEDs in their Range Rover vehicles. A significant number of British soldiers survived those blasts after that feature was installed. Anyone correct me if I have been misled. I am by no means an expert. In that field. Update: Thanks to Jermain Reed, it does indeed have that bottom V shape. Please read his comment as he has plenty of knowledge on this MRAP.

They're made for patrol on paved roads in COIN operations (think Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, etc) where the main threats are mines and IED. In the high-intensity conventional warfare of Ukraine they're either road-bound (and therefore easy to ambush) or they go off-road and get stuck in the mud due to their high ground pressure. They also can't run too fast and are easy targets for artillery because being that tall they've a high center of gravity and can tip over real fast.

Are we gonna act like all that equipment in Afghanistan wasn't sold to terrorists? That wasn't left behind....it was a trade deal.... keep working America....other people require it so they can maintain themselves through your efforts.
