The best thing about every track. Firebugs: a calming and unique 5: great for the lore and adding the overall creepiness of the deep dark. Ancestry: fits in so perfectly with the deep dark. Amazing. Aerie: just beautiful Labyrinthine: very unique and so many emotions.

Holy heck, this gave me an odd sense of nostalgia and calm when I first listened to it. Imagine in five years, I don't think anyone's gonna be ready for the feels then.

Labyrinthine is the best song I have heard in a long time, with many feelings, where it begins with some very strange and murky tunes until a melody begins to sound that gives it shape and meaning. As if it were personally about feeling disoriented in life until you start doing something and slowly start to give it a meaning and you keep doing it with more and more motivation

First time i listen to this after 10 and a half years of playing, I'm feeling feelings i'll never be able to feel again. Live the moment everyone.

It feels so weird seeing minecraft today and looking back to the days when minecraft first came out when I was like 5 or 6 years old. Minecraft has brought so many great childhood memories from just playing with my friends or the youtubers i loved to watch when i was young and seriously I remember each of them like it was yesterday and ik other ppl might say it's just a silly video game but minecraft has a very special place in my heart and just listening to this music and looking back on the memories I made with my friends I literally have tears rolling down my cheeks

The first song is so relaxing and nostalgic

aerie and labyrinthine are the best aerie gives me a sad vibe for some reason and labyrinthine reminds me of my whole minecraft journey since I ever started playing it, it reminds me of adventure

I played on a SMP. I based in a swamp right next to a birch forest after my old one got ruined by some players, I would always here all of these while in the swamp it was first annoying that i didn’t get to listen to something else. Now i realized the beauty of all these songs

Been playing Minecraft since 2011, but no other song manages to give me the feeling Aerie does. Sure, I get nostalgic from the other tracks from c418 and even other tracks from this update, but none of it FEELS like Aerie does. It makes me miss something I never got to experience; nostalgia for a time I never got to live in. I don’t know what exactly it is that I missed out on, but this makes me miss it. As the song progresses and gets to the middle, I am overcome with the realization that the “good old days” are behind me and time is fleeting. If I don’t make memories now, in the present, then I’ll be stuck in the past. Happens every time, without fail, and I haven’t found a single song in any game soundtrack that evokes this feeling quite the same way.

aerie sounds like a domestic cat that was allowed to roam outside and explore the world rather than being confined in its owners house, and one day wandered too far and got lost the cat was sad, but made a lot of new cat friends along the way and had lots of fun, but never forgot his old home one day the cat got home sick and told his friends he’d be back someday, but for now he wanted to go home. so he did it was a long journey back, and he faced many hardships, but he was determined to find his old home again and his old owner when he arrived, he was thrilled to see that his previous owners still lived in the house. it was night and the living room lights were on he was so excited that he hopped up to look through the living room window, but his bubble was quickly bursted when he saw his owners laughing and smiling……with a different cat a kitten the cat watched through the window, devastated, and it was then that he noticed the lack of missing posters, his old playhouse in the backyard not there, his old living room cat tree that was ugly and beige and covered in scratch marks (what he liked to call art) was now replaced with a fluffy green cat tree that was much smaller and looked cooler. his old food bowls moved to a different location in the house and replaced with new and smaller ones, his old spot on the couch that he sat in so much there was an indent now no longer indented, and was being sat in. his owners knew never to sit in his special spot. the cats old life was gone, his old owners having completely forgotten about him. he was heartbroken to say the least. he traveled far and wide and never forgot them, but was he that irrelevant to them that they forgot him so quickly? the cat jumped from the windowsill, slowly and sadly started to walk away from the house house he used to call home. but not without looking back one last time, hoping one of his old owners would emerge from the front door and embrace him, happy to see him back after being lost for so long. but that didn’t happen. no one came from the front door. no one looked for him while he was gone. no one cared for the cat anymore. so he left. and the once happy and comfortable cat, now heartbroken and cold, was never to be seen again..

And future generations will never know Herobrine, Entity 303, or even legends like Technoblade, Dream, Captain Sparklez, And let's not forget the awesome storytellers, hardcore players, and comedians like Wilbur Soot, Tommyinnit, Jschlatt, Ph1lza, and Ranboo. Minecraft will always be the game with the best community (In My opinion ofc)

Lena Raine’s music often reminds me of C418’s, and in a good way. It’s a shame that C418’s stuff is played less these days, as I still prefer it, but I recognise that is at least in part nostalgia. Aerie, though… could be segued onto MC Volume Alpha and nobody would bat an eyelid. Honestly one of my favourite pieces of music in the game.

Labyrinthine gives me huge Stardew Valley Vibes, no idea why. On a side note, its so hard to listen to any Minecraft music nowadays because it just makes me so sad and nostalgic.

I cry every time I hear that first song. It’s so calming, and it makes me think of Technoblade. It just gives off a sense of how far we’ve come, the travel, the hurt, the hardships, but we made it.

C418 songs are definitely incomparable and amazing but man, I gotta give credits to Lena, she also makes such amazing songs

I first noticed Aerie when my old friend's dog, Fiver, died. From that point on, I considered it Fiver's song. Me, old friend, and bestfriend would all play on our minecraft server together, amongst others. We died in the deep dark together, played hide & seek in vc, explored the nether, and so much more. But recently old friend and bestfriend broke up, and it was a heartbreaking experience. Aerie reminds me of Fiver and all our good times, but in a very nostalgic and sad way. It's so emotional, I love it, but at the same time it rips my heart apart :')

Aerie reminds me the music from SNES games. Just like Earthbound or Secret of Mana. It makes this song more nostalgic to me. It also reminds me the Stardew Valley music.

Dont get me wrong its not bad but i heavily prefer c418's music. Maybe that's just because i played Minecraft back in 2013 tho...

These songs do not fit the game, however, I really REALLY like Labyrinthine for some reason. It reminds me of those old KZfaq mystery music people would put in like "Secret Discovery found in Video Game" videos. It would fit in an ARG, like Minecraft Alpha Versions 1.0.16 perhaps, but everything else just seems so strange. I don't like the bit past 18:30 though, that instrument sucks. tl;dr music feels like it would fit something like inscryption more, imo.

The fact that C418 can't release a soundtrack for a new version of Minecraft makes me hopeless for this game direction. Minecraft has turned into another AAA title with tech giant who don't know about the true 'fun' of video game behind it.

The composer went too far with Labyrinthe, it sounds too energetic for Minecraft and it completely caught me off guard. Therefore it ruined my overall experience today. Honestly, even though it had good intentions, it would've been better if the devs left this unused.
