High risk, high reward makes it balanced enough from a gameplay standpoint. I'll be interested to see its staying power and what people do with it. Also, I wish they'd call it a "heavy hammer" or something. Like, "Mace" feels truncated.

Slime Platforms to cushion falls, or Feather Falling ∞ with a massive hits beyond reason. Heck, people are prolly gonna have contests to see who can survive the highest falls from Elytra falls and stunts involving narrow pens full of mobs to hit- difficulty ever increasing into a competitive sport for the world record for most clutch Mace Landings- and also most overkill damage done in one shot as well.

@@Eerie_busThe minimum is them doing nothing, this update is similar in size to 1.13 How do you guys keep finding ways to be mad at Mojang for no apparent reason Also, before someone says “they have unlimited money and devs”, their dev team (specifically developers) are ~50, split between two versions (Bedrock and Java), leaving ~25 people to work on each version, similar to pre-Microsoft mojang. In addition, studios don’t just throw money at teams. Studios are given a certain amount of money a year that is determined by the predicted cost to run their studio, not so that they can burn money on devs

Wind charge + shift + jump boost = DEATH Also, if i'm not wrong, mojang calculates the damage of the time falling, so with slow falling, you could do some REALLY high damage. Edit : Made a machine wich can detect how much damage you do on a Zombie. Wich Jump boost II, Strenght II, Double wind charge (on the ground while shifting and on a wall) I got an attack of an AMAZING amount of... 100 hearths! Btw, a wither has 150 hearts And the ender dragon has 200! Tomorrow if someone reminds me imma upload a video of the machine and download for it.

As far as I know, it's tied to speed. PhoenixSC tried slow falling on stream and it was wayy worse

I remember this one speed run strat speed runners use to one shot the ender dragon and it used momentum to make a arrow go fast enough to one shot the dragon. I genuinely wonder if it would be possible to do the same using the hammer.

Nah it needs something like thors hammer. Where lightning strikes as u land the hit. Lots of it too, not just one bolt like in channeling. Plus an armor enchantment that reduces lightning damage and at max level, completely negates it. But to balance it, can only be applied to leather armor

They should add a breeze charge block which makes you bounce like 3 or so blocks in the air when you step on it and needs a silk touch hoe to pick up. It would also be good for making clouds in Minecraft.

If they allow enchantments the channeling enchantment could do the wind blast on hit instead of lightning. It could scale the AOE and knockback of the channeling attack with fall velocity just like the crit effect. If the hammer could get this spell effect on it you could hit the ground and wind last with the hammer instead of an offhand wind charge which would help bedrock players do the combo attack

I just had a great idea! "Channeling" is a pretty vague name for an enchantment, and on tridents it channels lightning. But what if, since the Heavy Core has slots on it, Channeling on a mace would channel wind charges? As in, you could have them in your inventory or offhand as ammo for some sort of skill or ability that a Channeling mace has. Maybe some sort of skill to make gaining height easier like a super jump, or a last-second wind cushion if you don't land that attack when falling from a high place.

I just imagine slam damage (3+ Block falls) with thunder damage to make the AOE knockback transfer bonus thunder damage to all things around it. Weaker bolts for weaker slams, up to twice normal lightning. Also perhaps a Quake Enchantment to spread the size of the Knockback Slam effect with bonus launch distance. It'd add a bigger hitbox over each other, making edge of the AOE go back as far as it does normal- BUT makes targets in the close to center areas catapulting baddos to the next neighborhood over.

I expirimented with the wind charge and found that it can activate quite a few redstone components, including the lever, which could possibly make for a very compact t flip flop if you place wind charges into a dispenser facing towards a lever

I hope they don't nerf it or if they do, they keep it minimal because right now it's barely worth using and people assume it's overpowered because they can one shot a motionless warden on the surface of the world Since beds are really common to get and they evaporate the dragon in seconds with almost no setup I doubt it

I don't think they need to nerf it. Saying that this weapon is too op is saying "if by some miracle I am perfectly 200 blocks above a motionless warden and hit him while falling, I will kill him in one hit". If you can pull this off, I think you deserve killing warden with one hit

@@bldymna "Bluntness" would be a good name for the sharpness equivalent of the mace, or hammers. Also, I came up with the name Heavy Blow Hammer/Mace because it is crafted with a heavy core, and "blow" is meant to allude to the breeze rod it is crafted with.

They've been fixing a lot of death/damage bugs. But tbh I've never experienced any and I've been playing since before update aquatic Edit: I think I should clarify. I mean playing regularly since the buildup yo update aquatic. I had played before that but I wasn't that into the game

mace could have an enchant for either more knockback/ kb range and or also an enchant for the area of effect doing some damage. could also have the area of effect deal fire

Regarding the path and the wind charge: Partial blocks are identified as transparent, just like leaves or grates. Do wind charges go through transparent blocks? I can't remember from previous videos and the wiki does not say, as far as I can find.

As long as they're improving console support, they should address the save space issue on Switch. I can have hundreds of gigabytes available, but if my world even _approaches_ 5 GB, I'm basically asking for it to get corrupted.

The wind charge passes through path blocks because they aren't full blocks. I imagine this will get fixed before the update releases.

The mace looks more like a mallet in the hand, though the item looks like a 3d cube mace. It would work well with a 3d model. How does it work with the elytra? Could you fly-by a warden?

I hope they add a new function to the fire charge. It could be like the Bedwars fireball. It would fit in with the combat update and would make it and the wind charge equal.

Here's my idea for the mace you should be able to put it inside of a dispenser to make a new type of Kill Chamber for Farms. kind of thinking the same way how you can put shears for a sheep farm.
