@@thathippiewithagreenvest4378 they are probably trying to get views. They usually put a clickbait thumbnail on a pretty long video. People who got clickbaited will try to search or watch through the video for what is shown in the thumbnail. This easily gives them watch hours and every amount of hours people watch their video they get paid. Or it makes the aglorithm reccomend the video because a lot of people clicked it.
