Pet wolves can now be used in combat without the need to worry about their fall. Head over to Minecraft’s hottest biomes to find the new armadillo mob and use your archeology skills on their shells. Doing so will reward you with some armadillo scutes. These scuts can be used to craft armor for your wolves and shield them from most damage sources.
