series is coming along great! cant wait to see more of how you build your base. i use to mess about with old forestry bees but never got into productive bees.

Mob pathfinding in minecraft (vanilla and propably also all mods that don't adress this part) are horrendous moreso when it comes to flying mobs like bees. And in particular with skyblock worlds, they can't figure out to pathfind back to the island as soon as the fly out over the edge and are above the void (mobs use certain blocks to pathfind, so void equals no real pathfinding) So you have to build an apiary of sorts for your bees to keep them home/safe :)

@jetlaggmc they sit at the bottom of the world instead of phasing through so when you get something like the flight totem or other ability to fly, you can go rescue them from the void.

Also I just found out recently there's a way to farm Mob drops with bees like the drygmy from ars it's the wannabeee

Make honey seeds it's just better than with bees coz U can't upgrade normal bees
